Option 2. Option 2 was definitely better. He had literally just been asking for a way to change the wish, and this was certainly the way the Stone was giving him to do it. He clicked on Option 2, and it pinged him with a message saying, Enjoy the Game! Then it was gone. In its place, he just saw his phone's normal lock screen. A little investigation revealed no trace of whatever app that was at all.

Somehow, Jon had meandered his way down to the living room couch. The couch was comfy and reassuring and gave him the safe feeling he subconsciously craved after the magnitude of what had just happened sunk in. Something Interesting had happened, and that Something was Jon somehow agreeing to play a game against a God.

Nothing crazy had happened yet, and honestly that was what was making him the most paranoid. "Something Interesting" could be a meteor landing on his school building or all humans growing a second pair of eyes or even a politician exhibiting basic competence, but until any of those things happened he was entirely in the dark as to what it was going to be. All he had was a rather unsettling assurance that he'd be notified of his next choice to make, and nothing else to go on.

And not for lack of looking, either: once it fully hit that nothing absurd had happened, nor would happen in the aftermath of his selection, Jon's eyes were as peeled as a hypochondriac's oldest potatoes. Nothing about his room had changed, and everything technical about his phone looked normal despite the earlier hijacking. Mom was okay, just busy as she often was, and Zoe was also okay, and resting her bitch face in his direction as she often did, and everything looked for all the marbles to be normal and fine and a scene right out of the average American's average living room. It was okay. Everything was okay. Everything was going to be okay.

So of course he practically lurched when his phone buzzed again. Was it the wish again!?

CANDY CRUSH SAGA: Need to relax? Why not match some candies!?

It was not the wish again.

"Jon, honey, are you okay?" Jon's mom asked (her name was Linda). "You seem a little tense."

"I'm okay, ma," he deflected. "Just... expecting a text," he lied.

"From your girlfriend?" Zoe teased. "Blonde bimbo Karyn got you around her finger yet?"

"Shut up, Zoe." Why did little sisters have to be like this? "I am, in fact, expecting a text from Nunya, if you must know."

Zoe smirked and rolled her eyes. "Nunya must be pretty damn cute to get you all flustered like that, then."

"Language, Zoe!" Linda called out from the kitchen.

"English, Mom!" Zoe shot back.

Jon sighed and rubbed his temples. This damn Stone was going to give him a heart attack at this rate. Maybe some Candy Crush or something wasn't a bad idea. He needed to stop just worrying about something that hadn't materialized and at this rate probably wouldn't materialize for some time, and anyway it wasn't good for you to jump at your phone whenever it dings, or so he'd heard. He had about resolved to get it booted up when (of course) his phone dinged again.

This time he checked more casually, but froze when he saw the notification that had again taken over his phone.

Would You Rather...?

  1. Have a hot, sexy sister you find yourself uncomfortably attracted to?

  2. Have a hot, milfy mother you find yourself uncomfortably attracted to?

In 14:59, if you haven't made a decision, you'll get both.
CHOOSE CAREFULLY, YOU CAN'T UNDO THIS!

"...What the FUCK kind of a choice is that!?" Jon thought to himself. "That's a lose lose choice! That's, that's, sure, I guess it's InTeReStInG in that it's shockingly vile and wickedly repulsive, but come on, man! Mom is Mom, and Zoe is Zoe! This isn't some deranged mommy stepsister hentai, this is real people, this is my family!" Jon fished the Stone out of his pocket and immediately whispered a wish under his breath, that he wouldn't have to make this choice.

No flash. The stone didn't do anything, nothing happened. No, wait, something happened: There was a new line of text on his phone screen.

You Opted In to this. No Chickening Out! 14:28 left.

Jon looked up at his Mom. Linda was in the kitchen, but from where he sat he could still see her putting dishes away, diligently as she always did. Mom was always tired, tired in the way you almost have to be if you're both a single mother and a good mother. Zoe might complain sometimes that she wasn't there like she should, but Jon was older: Jon saw the sacrifice, saw how much she loved her kids and how she refused to let the situation with Dad get in the way of it, and suffered for them. If being his Mom wasn't enough he loved her for that, and the idea of wanting her for her body... Linda was well into her forties, and visibly worn by a hard life until then. Thin, almost gaunt, with a face just starting to wrinkle and the first few grays starting to creep into her hair... Jon wouldn't want it any other way, because then she wouldn't be Mom, she'd be something else.

Then there was Zoe. Zoe, the fighter, and the annoying little sister, whose preferred strategy for getting attention was making trouble. Of course Mom bought her clothes, which didn't make it easy for her to pull that "rebellious angry teenager" look she aspired to fight the world in. In the end, she had to make do with being Zoe. On some level, Jon couldn't help but think worried thoughts about where her life was going, and the protective older brother part of him hated to imagine what could happen if she ever got mixed in too deep with the wrong crowd... but he knew just as well how poorly she'd react to any show of force. He supposed the Wish was planning to make her the proverbial Big Tiddy Goth GF if he chose that... and that could easily lead her to much deeper trouble.

12: 37 left.

Jon grimaced. He had to make a choice, the Stone wouldn't let him out of that, unless he wanted the worst of both worlds at once... but what to do? What the hell should he do!?
