Going out in public with their own money was seen as a massive social faux pas. People really wanted to keep omega males down. Chet, Chad and Thad were all dating the same person. That person was Anna. She made sure that they each had something. Brad was on his own. The others would clearly share a bit of their food so that their brother could eat. Brad was not completely left out. After the first big group date, she decided to do things that it would not cost money to do. The museum was a totally government subsidized institution. You could pay whatever you wanted for a ticket. 1 lin for each of the 5 of them was good enough. They could hang out. The park had a playground and some tennis courts. Since they came from sitting on the bench at practice every day, they appreciated the ability to play tennis again. Anna could watch them play some doubles against each other. Chet and Chad were a nice doubles team. The others paired up as well. It gave Anna an idea. "Why don't you sign up for a tennis tournament!? There have to be some small, open leagues to play in."
It was a radical idea. So radical that none of them would even consider it without her suggestion. Chet immediately checked his phone. "Yeah! There are some going on in the city. I can't believe it." Thad asked where it was. "It's over on the eastside in about a month. We can do this. They are doing singles, doubles and mixed doubles." It was an opportunity to continue playing the sport they loved. Anna smiled at their enthusiasm. "If you keep in shape by practicing here from now on, you'll be able to do great." she said. The ability to compete would do wonders for their confidence going forward. Brad crossed his arms. "Are you kidding me? It's an open league. That means we'll be playing against betas and alphas. I'm not getting the shit beat out of me. No way." The others deflated a bit. Anna decided to put her thumbs on the scale to get this going. She clapped her hands to get attention. "Alright then. The 3 of you can sign up. You can all do singles and doubles can be done by 2 of you. I'll pair with the other brother for mixed doubles." The 4 looked at Anna. It was a bold thing.
Humoring her, Brad said "Really? Do you even want to play? There's no point if you lose in the first round!" That was true and a valid criticism. Anna was not a real tennis player. What she did have going for her was her high level. She was level 13 now. The brothers were all level 8. Being national champions and educated got them more than what would be expected for many citizens their age. The delinquents who spent their time fighting and the career criminals were stronger in this game. So was the law enforcement. Chet went to Chad and playfully put his arm over his brother's shoulder. "We were a team at nationals. We'll keep it up." he said with a jovial tone. That made sense. Thad chuckled. "We'll show them why we were undefeated all year!" he said. Anna turned to Thad. "Looks like we are going to be good partners in the tournament, so sign me up too." They were getting pretty excited. It was something that they wanted. Now it was ahead of them. Anna brought them all out to the park to practice every day after school. They got to practice and exercise on the courts.
All of this invited some intrigue. People wanted to know what these 4 omega males were doing. If alphas tried to interfere, she would get in the way. Beating the shit out of alphas gave her more exp. to level up with. The 4 Tudi brothers also benefitted by being in her party. The brothers showed her their grasp the sport. Anna had good power, speed and reflexes due to her high level. She could hopefully keep a rally alive long enough for Thad to end it for her if she could not. That was her plan going into it at least. After a week of practice, she was asked an odd question. Chad asked if he could get some of her clothes. She raised an eyebrow at him. They had just laid several alpha boys flat in the park. "It's nothing! If you don't want to give them to me it's totally fine." he quickly added. The other brothers looked disappointed. Brad just rolled his eyes. "They want your clothes because our heats are likely to come up soon. We'll be nesting, so they want your scent around. I don't." he explained to her in an exasperated tone. The others looked super guilty about it. Anna did not mind.
