When she approached, they looked at her in total awe. The 4 Tudi brothers had no clue that this would happen. Chad took a deep breath. "I got your coach to back off of you. It's time to go on those dates we talked about." Anna reminded them. "Fine. When do you want to go on the date?" Chad asked her. Anna smiled wider. He was actually taking her seriously now. Why not? He owed her. They all did. She said "How about after school today? We can also do it tomorrow if you have plans." He looked at her. "Fine. Meet us tomorrow after practice ends. Here at the courts." Chad said since he was up first. Anna nodded her head. "Congratulations on getting back on the team. I hope that everything works out for you." she said before leaving them. She was done with that. It also would be a great opportunity to get another article out in the now empty Newspaper Club. She started it right away. The next day, she got it finished up. Turning it all in, it was up to the editor to look at. She was ready to go on her date. Chad was waiting. Even if it was a bad day, a date could make it so much better.
Very quickly she saw things were off. Anna looked at Chad and said "Do you want to go out on the date? I am ready to go." He looked her up and down and nodded his head. That was a very good sign. It would have been understandable if they were feeling too down in the dumps to go. He then looked at his brothers. "All of you guys can go home together." he said. As the 2nd oldest of the brothers, he had more than a bit of sway. They nodded and got ready. They did not need to wash up or anything because they did not get on the court. Their alpha male coach would not even let them do any of the warm up exercises with the rest of their team. Anna was told that the coach called them in. Pairing up was all they could do. All 4 of them were made to sit on the bench if not doing doubles. More than likely, they would be benchwarmers for the rest of the year. He would not put them in at matched with other schools. That was so messed up. Since that was the case, they could go straight home. As a beta female, Anna could join the team and get more time on the court. It was totally not fair.
Really discouraged, Chad was only going on the date out of obligation. While they were able to practice and remain members on the team, they were ostracized. Chad's bad mood would hopefully improve in time. He and Anna walked off campus together while holding hands. It seemed to make the boy blush almost as red as his hair. If it was enough to fluster him, Anna was going to have an easy time. She turned to him and asked what he wanted to eat. He wanted a burger at a local fast food place. It looked like a fancy diner. She was given starting money. The currency of this world was called lin. She had been given 500 at the start of the game. Because it was the first week of the game being sold, every Player got another 1000 lin. In total, that was 1500 lin. She was pretty good on cash now. If she played her cards right, she could get more. With enough money, she could buy property. Anna decided to ask him some questions. He was the second oldest of the quadruplets. He was proud of his skills and of his brothers. His favorite move was their drop shot. Chad was also pretty quick.
