I asked what he had done. "I can't visualize the database. It won't go through to my eyes because I have human DNA there. This is not for humans." "Uh-oh. How are you going to see the options!?" I asked. That did not seem good. Sighing, he said "I have to route the listing to my glasses." I nodded. He slipped them over his face. After half a minute, he smirked. "It's working. I can read it from the lenses of the glasses." Kyle said. That was good. Now, he could see all of the catalogue of things I had unlocked. As it downloaded from the machine, his body began to create it. The snow white nanites shifted and wiggled as his body constructed the big cannon. His was a different color from all the others. Kyle looked fascinated about the process. A massive plasma cannon was centered in the center of his chest. They also went for arm blades and a pair of shotgun barrels on their upper backs, one above the other. This version of the shotguns had 15 armor piercing rounds in the magazines due to the upgrades from the research I had completed by that point. That was a great choice.

Finally, he installed a handgun barrel in each of his butt cheeks. These had incendiary rounds in the magazines. I might as well make it standardized among my clan's AEP units. When he unplugged from the chair, he looked pleased with himself. Now it was time to get a bit personal. I put a hand his shoulder. "Kyle, did you inherit a toxic AEP organ from 10-003?" I asked gently. He nodded his head. Just like with 10-003, he could produce white poisoned needles that could cause both acid damage or stunning effects. It was half as potent. That was fine. I gave him one of the magnetic AEP organs I had. "Here. I want you to integrate this organ. This should keep you safe from all metal attacking you." I told him. He took it eagerly. This was a full strength organ. All the hybrids had half strength organs. Placing it in his lower back, he was able to slowly integrate it. When it was fully connected, he smiled. "I am so much more powerful. Thank you." he said. I smiled back at him. "Let's go out. I'll pay for it." I took him to a diner. He was able to order anything on the menu that caught his eye.

He ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a birthday cake flavored milkshake. I ordered the same. I told them not to put any onions on mine. That still included the ketchup, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and pickles. When the server left, I started up some small talk with Kyle. He answered what I asked him. Nothing more and nothing less. He never asked me anything. It seemed that I needed to socialize him more than I thought. It was fine. Kyle was awkward in conversation but otherwise he was doing pretty well. He enjoyed eating. Zipping around town, I showed him all of the good places to go. He followed behind me like a baby duckling. I thought that was so cute. Showing him off to the others in the clan was a mixed bag. Many of the AEP units were gone. The PEP units did not value human-cyborg hybrids. Even though they could see all their stats, they refused to understand that they had value. It was a bit hard to get them to react in a proper way. With prompting, they got there. After that, they went around to the others. The remaining clan AEP unit response was so cold.
