Capturing one of them would be needed. The reports out of the Wind Clan region was insane. They were taking the "Conqueror" moniker fully to heart. Rampant gang violence and outright terrorism was how the waged war against the humans living there. Anti-cyborg syndicates, already gang-like in their operations, rushed in the area to combat them. The police and the military had their hands full with them. It explained why there were no military blockades of their town for the demonstration. They all thought that they had bigger fish to fry with Wind Clan. If only they knew PBJ Clan was a massive whale in the grand scheme of things. To be fair, Wind Clan was totally out in the open. They made sure to shout out their clan affiliation when they killed a target. We were more in the shadows. Nobody too important knew about us and our dealings. We liked to keep it that way. I was going to get to the bottom of this. It was a simple plan. I would go to their territory and simply walk around. I did get one thing from Mason before I went in. It was a laptop. It had a program that could hack AEPs.

Doing that was hard for people without the required skills. We maxed Mason's out for hacking for this reason. A program made by him would make the processes trivially easy. With the red laptop in my possession, I went right to the center of their hub's territory. Brett spawned in a green sedan. I was not the best driver in the game, but I got there in one piece. I had no clue where their transmission hub was. It could be in an entirely different city. Still, it did not hurt to try. Once I got there, I went over to the nearest motel. Checking in was easy. Walking around the streets, I did not see a lot of people on the streets. People were super scared. I was not because I was an overpowered person. A squad of Phobia syndicate members stalked up to me. It was about 5 of them. They were angry. "Hey! We know you, Brianne!! Get over here and then get out of our damn city!" one shouted at me from down the block. I sighed deeply and waited for them to approach me. When they finally got to me, they began to curse me out. PBJ Clan was on their radars for all the crazy stuff that we did earlier.

If they were just taking an aggressive stance, I could let it go. Yelling at me was not going to change anything. I had all the power, fame and prestige here. After failing to intimidate me, one of the thugs tried to shove me. I did not budge. He simply was not strong enough to do it unless I allowed him. "What the hell?" he cried out in shock. I did not say anything yet. I did not need to. His friends were also taken aback with how sturdy I was. I looked at him and said "I'm sorry man. Were you trying to get my attention!?" He just glared at me. "Of course I was! I'm telling you to get lost!" he screamed. I nodded my head and began walking. The others echoed the sentiment. The thugs had suffered enough humiliation for now. I was not trying to mess with them anyway. I just wanted Wind Clan. That was it. I was going to ask them if they knew anything about where Wind Clan was hiding. Even a minor safehouse for the cyborgs would do. I could work with that. When I turned around, I saw they were all aiming the guns at me. I jumped out the way of a hailstorm of bullets. I began returning fire.
