Mark, Leo and Toby wanted to celebrate their release from the jail. Because he had to go to work he promised them that he would join them at a Clover affiliated bar. The fact that he would have to go to work for his shitty boss was a drag. Then again, he had the app. Alex sighed, even more deeply this time, as he went to sleep. When he woke up in the morning, he had to take a shower and get dressed. It was a big mess when he looked at the window. He did not like how he looked. Walking to work, he made his way to his work station. When he was about to start his shift, Mack and all of the other transformed centaurs entered. Alex was a bit perplexed by it. He had a really awkward day. Nothing was said about it. The coworkers did not want to make a scene. They smiled at him. It was clear that they were not going to leave until they got to speak with Alex about something. It was probably about the transformations and all of the changes that came with them. He was not the one that needed to speak to them though. Before he could clock out, his boss called him in his office for a small talk.
Alex did not really care about what his boss had to say. He just wanted to go out and leave for the day. Then again, it was not like he wanted to deal with Mack and all his centaur buddies. "So, Alex, we've had some interesting visitors with us today. Do you want to explain?" he said to start the conversation. Alex looked at him right in the face and said "Hmm. I don't know. I thought that you were in on this. As the manager, I thought you'd tell them to leave if you did not want them here." He knew full well that they were gang members. Alex knew that they were there for him. He knew that the manager would shit a brick if Mack even looked at him. He was not going to say the gang members menacing him were actually there for him. Being gang affiliated was something that could get him fired. The boss simply crossed his arms. "So, nothing on your end caused this?" he probed. Alex leaned back on his chair. "Why would I ask those guys to come here and look like thugs all day!? It does not make any sense." he snapped back. It really did not make sense that he would do this to himself.
