I have some ideas about your family I want to pitch. Once we have everything fleshed out, the writers room will take care of the rest.

Sarah McMillan walked down the hall with her boyfriend, Biff Meadows, turning the corner. "There's no practice today..." she said, "how about we..."

She suddenly paused and looked around. They had turned a corner...and were in what looked like some kind of warehouse. There were chairs, and racks of clothes, as well as people milling about.

A woman hurried up to them. "Sarah...Biff...we need to talk," she said.

"Who the hell are you?" Biff asked.

"I'm the new showrunner, Kate. The studio brought me in to revamp some things."

Sarah stared at her, uncomprehending.

"We did some focus groups...and the scores for Sarah McMillan are horrible...they hate you. I mean, you are supposed to be the antagonist, but this whole clique thing is so 90s TV. It doesn't resonate with our target demographic."

"What are you.." Sarah started, but her ego got her distracted from the fact this made no sense to the idea that people didn't like her. "What do you mean they hate me?" Everyone loved her...at least everyone who mattered.

"Don't take it personally...these things happen. It isn't you, you did the best you could with the material. But we're striking all the story arcs with Sarah McMillan and her parents. Don't worry though, I have something else in mind for you...It's a bit different, but you can use some of the same energy you brought to playing the cheerleader."

"We're going to need you to give those clothes back to wardrobe though." Sarah started to protest, but then Kate touched her arm. Sarah suddenly felt...disconnected. She began to kick off her sandals, and started removing her outfit, putting it on a hanger and donning a generic robe. She removed her makeup as well, leaving herself sitting quietly there, fresh faced. The girl found herself suddenly holding what looked like a script. "I'll take that," Kate said, grabbing the script. On the front of it, it was labeled Sarah McMillan.

The woman handed her a new script labeled Sarah Black and then focused on Biff. "As for you...I don't really have anything in mind for you right now..." she grabbed his arm and his face went blanker than normal. "...except extra." She said, relieving him of a script he was suddenly holding. "We'll see if we have something in future," she said as he joined Sarah in returning his clothes to hangers and sitting there in a robe.

Two individuals descended on them. One worked on Biff, giving him a hairpiece and a pair of glasses. With Sarah, they trimmed her hair and put it into a ponytail, and dressing her in a softball uniform and cap.

"Okay, Sarah, we'll see you on set later..." She turned to Biff. "You just...mill around as needed."
