"There you are, Jen. You missed gym class, where were you?" said Karyn, approaching John.
"I've been looking all over for you. I think I have a fix for these..." she continued, gesturing at her breasts.
"Why? I kinda like them." John blurted out without thinking.
"You're funny, Jen. Why don't you wish for a pair for yourself? Anyway, I wrote the wish on this piece of paper, what do you think?"
John read the paper in his mind and thought it was a good idea. Maybe it could work on his own predicament.
Just as he was going to reply to Karyn, Mrs. Johnson came in and yelled at them to hurry up, scolding the "young ladies" for taking so long to get ready and go to the next class. Karyn says yes to Mrs. Johnson and tells "Jen" they can meet later to test out the wish.
John is left alone and he goes back to the mirror. There she is, Jen, staring back and then it hits him: thanks to his stupid wish he won't be able to see himself ever again. He thinks about how weird it is, to see this beautiful girl in the mirror, to be her, but at the same time feel like his old self. He can see his body, feel it, touch it, but not on the mirror.
"I'm gonna go crazy..." he says out loud. "Time to test Karyn's wish, see if I can go back to being John, or at least see myself in the mirror. I wish..."
