Marriage negated the reason for an omega to seek out a college education in their eyes. It was fucked up. Anna did not want to go, but that was only because she was actually a Player. It did not matter whether she went to college in a video game or not. She would go in her real life. Due to this, they were unwilling to pay for them to go to school. The boys did not want to pay out of pocket for themselves. Loans were not even considered. Anna was not going to press them if they were not going to try to make it on their own. They were going to make their children go. Whether they were omega, beta or alpha; they had to get a degree in something. When it came to their grades, Kelly, Skye, Liam and Luke were getting straight A's. None of them were nerdy. It was due to having tutors and a large range of hobbies. They were fit, beautiful, strong and smart. That made them popular even before they presented. Now that they had, it made them the talk of the school. Kelly and Skye were both in the tennis club. South High was looking forward for a third national championship in tennis.

Not wanting to stay idle, Anna took on several missions. Killing people was not something she was shy about. Her crew would track them down, make a plan and then all of them would execute it together. It was always amazing when a good plan came together. It was thrilling when it did not go as plan. Then it led to long chases and all sorts of hijinks to get the target dead. She was unique in the fact that she opened an assassination racket in their gang. The others did not have one. Most only had the basics of guns, drugs and prostitution. The West Side Wolves had a protection racket. They had all the business owners in the western quadrant paying them money to keep them from being attacked by other gangs. It was a bit dubious to assume that other gangs would destroy a family owned restaurant for no reason, but no one really cared. They wanted money. They were willing to do their own violence to get it from the owners. The other gangs could do drive-bys if they wanted someone dead. Other than that, other gangs did not send assassins into other territories. The SSS did.

Obviously, venturing into an enemies turf was asking for trouble. Still, there were still cops and civilians around. Unless you were particularly hated by a gang, no one would be sent out with the purpose of killing you. If you got in their faces, they might try to fight you. Losing that fight if you were hated would be very bad for you. There were indeed worse things than death. It was after a late night assassination attempt in the park that Anna and her crew were coming back. Someone had tried to take advantage of Barnett and Marcus sparring in the park. A couple of gangsters on a motorbike came out of nowhere and tried to gun them down. The master swordsmen were able to cut the bullets and take cover. Anna and the others then spent hours fighting them off as they had back up. The police were conveniently absent. The had to have been paid off to not respond. Jake never paid the cops to make missions easier. Now that she knew it was an option, she would have to look into it. As they passed the basketball court, they saw Luke playing a game. Anna then called out to him.
