Zipping towards her like a bolt of lightning, Anna could barely see the big backhand from Kevin coming her way. She was able to dodge out of the way, but just barely. All the patience she had for him would have gone out the window if he had hit her. They would be fighting. She looked at him with anger instead. "Are you seriously trying to hit your own daughter-in-law!?" she spat. "Maybe you shouldn't be talking so much then." he shot back. Anna's response would have been brutal, but her phone began to ring. It was Jake on the line. Anna was not expecting to do any missions for the gang. She picked up the call. "Hello?" she answered. "Come to my suite. It's Cam. He's been captured." he said gravely. That was concerning. Much more important than Kevin being an asshole to her. She looked at Kevin. "I have to go. Seriously, bring him back home already. If not, I'm going to deal with the problem. You won't like it when I do." she promised. Leaving, she made her way straight to the hotel. Anna hoped things were fine. Jake and Ashton were waiting for her. They were upset.
Incredibly, her squad had been mobilized without her knowledge. Ashton had Dustin and Kurt along with 3 grunts to explore the border with the central zone of the city. It was a simple mission to make a deal for some cash. The guns we had were some of the most advanced and reliable on the black market. Camron and Oscar took 4 grunts to break up a deal between the West Side Wolves. They were trying to get a stockpile from abroad. We could not let them undercut us in the black marker. Thanks to Anna's hard work, the weapons trade had become the main source of income for the gang. It made Jake very influential and powerful as well. Somehow, they all got captured by the foreign mafia. The 4 beta male grunts were murdered as an example. It was in a graphic execution style snuff film. Jake was threatened with Camron and Oscar being killed next. This was extortion because the mafia knew they were both omegas. Anna looked at them. "Are we paying up?" she asked. Jake sighed very deeply. "I don't trust it." he said. Anna's heart throbbed. "They're dead!?"
Ashton stomped his foot. "There's no way that Camron's dead. He's still alive. I know it!" he shouted. Anna looked from him back to Jake. "Can we call them?" she asked him. He handed her his phone. "Be my guest." he said. It was clear that both cousins were at the end of their ropes with worry. She dialed the last number to call the phone. It rang 3 times before someone pick up. "You ready to pay?" asked the man on the line. Anna put it on speakerphone. "I want to confirm that Camron and Oscar are alive." Anna said firmly. There was a pause before the voice said "Say hello boys." There was the sound of hitting before both of them groaned one by one. They did not sound to be in good shape right now. Anna could hear it. At least they were both still alive. For now. "Boys!? Are you there!? Speak to me. Camron? Oscar?" she demanded. "Anna!? They really got us good." Camron said. It was probably an understatement. "Please come get us!" Oscar begged. "We're all coming with money." she assured them. They were given an address. "Camron. Use your powers."
