If he was consistently doing his work like his first round the night before, Ronan most likely would have gotten knocked up.

There was also a 50% bonus to fertility during a heat. Omega heats doubled the partner's chance of inseminating them. 12.5% doubled was still only 25%. It was certainly not impossible for Mitchel to have sneaked into a victory here. It also was not too likely considering it was a certainty that Bryce would be able to get it done. Either way, they had to live with it. It was something that was discussed before hand. Because of the liberal laws of the country, abortion was legal. However, the culture heavily discouraged it. Alpha heads of households had custody of their omegas. In most cases, they would not sign off on it. Day after pills were behind a counter. Omegas got shamed.
Losers like Bryce benefited the most from this cultural system. Kevin was Ronan's alpha. There was no way he would ever allow his son to abort Bryce's child.
