When I examined them again, I realized that they had both become holy weapons. They had done nothing but kill demons for the first 10 kills. They also breezed past 3 milestones with demon blood. Holy weapons were magical by definition as the divine power radiated from them. Holy blades did 1.5 times the damage when wielded by a good aligned creature and also when attacking evil aligned creatures but it did not stack. The bonus 50% was dealt in radiant damage. It was power of light. Uri's mortal form did not change, but his blade had some improvements. He was an inch longer now. The iron dagger was now steel. Another magical effect had imbued itself into the weapon. His dagger gave an added 5% chance to crit. That was added to your own ability to crit. Even a non combatant could crit once in about every 20 swings with him. Crits did double the base damage. It did not touch the radiant damage. "Wow. This actually an amazing evolution. You should be very proud of this." I said. He looked over the moon with my praise. I meant every word of that glazing.
You had to praise good work from your subordinates. That made them feel seen and appreciated. Perfect for farming high opinion with them. Moving over to Ras, I saw that his mortal form had changed a bit. His outfit was now a little different from before. He had also split into 2 separate daggers. One was pure white and the other was a deep black. Ras had a magical property on his daggers as well. The white one could heal the user. The black one had a 5% chance to stun enemies. This was amazing for a weapon. It was a total upgrade even compared to me. All I could do was heal. Granted, I could heal my wielder and allies. To be honest, Adventurer's Guilds would kill for Ras or Uri. "Ras, do you realize how wonderful you are!? You have 3 magical properties. You are a treasure and you'll only get stronger with time." He was also an excellent servant. Ras ecstatic with praise. Knight and Rook both appeared besides me. "How was our performance out there, Master." Rook pouted. "Yeah, Master. We both killed a lot of demons and we did not need you to wield us in battle."
Zipping over to look at them, my jaw dropped. They had also reached the status of holy weapon. I had to check my own status in the menu of the game. Sure enough, all a Blade Spirit had to do was kill 10 demons in a row. The potential was insane. The elemental damage of the katanas had increased a little from the last time that I had used them. And they would also be dealing radiant damage as well to evil aligned creatures. I was considered lawful neutral as a Blade Spirit. I was not good, but I was not evil either. I was supporting law and order in the valley by enforcing the independence of the 4 towns. I was not like I was embracing anarchy and killing everyone. At this moment, I was actually really powerful. I was only going to get stronger as time went on. I was about to walk back to Battleville when I saw all of the hybrid children playing with a ball. Aaren was my son. Alaya went ahead and named our daughter Anicia. My son with Kyra was named by her. She went with Zayne. The others did not have names. Their fathers referred to them as "My offspring." or "Child!".
