Neither wanting to wait, they stepped outside. Robert used his flamethrowers. Marcus used the katana that Anna had bought for him as a graduation gift. Barnett had an identical sword. Anna watched as Marcus braved all of those flames and hacked and slashed at the prince. It was very entertaining, but Marcus was the better man. They stood toe to toe, but the omega was used to fighting against alphas and their pheromones. He was an adult and the prince was still a minor. He had been handed a second loss. Colbert had to carry his brother inside to get some medical treatment from the servants. Marcus stumbled over to us. He first pulled his beta male husband close for a kiss. He then walked over to Anna. These princes are not all they are cracked up to be. Anna smiled. "Prince Robert is really strong. I knew you and Barnett are even stronger than that. A prince never has to face a fraction of the shit we went through growing up. Those fights made you stronger. He might catch up, but that's not going to take away from the fact that you beat him now."
It was sensational. The word about the duel was quickly spoken about and spread throughout the rest of the party. Prince Colbert was in a guest room, keeping up a very strict watch over his brother. Anna sent out all the former members of her harem to different groups of party goers to tell them what they had seen. She herself went to report it to Lord Layton. He chuckled. "My hearing had increased since the blinding. The whispers about it are spreading nicely. Losing to an omega male is not a good look. Especially here and now. I would love to meet these friends of yours. If they are as powerful as you say they are, it might be nice if they were involved in supporting our princes." he said. "An omega male really beat Robert up like that?" Teigan asked. "I beat Robert too. Just because alphas are strong, it doesn't mean that they are invincible. I sparred with Walter and Winston and they needed to gang up on me to win. I know a lot of strong people because I trained them to be strong. Often without them knowing it." Anna responded. They were very strong.
Obviously word got out to Elisa about this. Her son got beat up by a commoner. The king and queen were informed of this right away. The king sent a letter to both Reilly and Layton saying Anna was not to interact with any of her children going forward. It was now a proven fact that she had his number. It was not a fluke that she beat him the first time. Reilly and Layton wrote back saying that they would ensure that never happened. Layton informed them that a couple of lords agreed to lend their support for the throne to the faction. It was a nice start. He had also managed to start a rumor that the Hero Justice Agency were huge frauds. If the leader, Prince Robert lost to a beta female and an omega male, it really did start to look that way. It was an alpha supremacist viewpoint. There was no possible way Anna or Marcus could be strong enough to win. Prince Robert had to be weak. Either that or the non alpha cheated somehow. But it would then fall on the prince to expose how they had managed to outsmart him twice in a row with some cheating strategies.
