Seven days of bedrest was enough for their bodies to catch up to the changes of transcending in to sigmas. Anna and the others were all eating breakfast in the mansion when the 5 boys stumbled in. They all looked terrible in their own ways, but Teigan at least took the time to change his clothes. Ash and Cedar were still drenched the in sweat from their sick bed. Walter and Winston were irritable from the hunger. It turned everyone's heads as they entered the dining hall. Layton's was blind, but his nose still worked. "My word. It really is like a fantasy, my son." he said with a proud smile as he looked towards his son. "Good morning, Father. I am sorry to have worried you like this, but I am feeling better now." he said politely, drool dripping from his tongue. Teigan was raised by a noble as a noble since birth. The Idut Family were upstarts and much more lax on their princes when it came to their manners. Anna was sure that Teigan enjoyed the break he could enjoy when with them here. When at his house for a visit, everyone had to meet Lord Layton's high standards.
Those standards could be exacting to the point even Anna and the adult Iduts were reprimanded by him. It was not fun being dressed down by him. We all were halfway through our meal. I'm sure the servants can whip up some oatmeal for you. It's quick to make and very filling." Anna offered. They nodded vigorously. Kevin set the servants to the task." They were on a whole different level from Cody. Anna was a beta, but even she could feel an aura coming from them. "I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse." Walter whined. "I could drink a whole lake. I'm so very thirsty." Winston added. Ash and Cedar smiled. They were doing better. It was probably because they both already had a sigma gene from their father. The oatmeal was prepared with bananas. They each scarfed down 3 bowls before they were satisfied. Anna smiled. "Good job boys. That's a very healthy amount. Now it's time to take a bath. You guys are starting to stink up the room, and not in a good way. I don't care which one you use, but you all need to wash up." she said. They all left to go clean up.
It was then that those 3 royal doctors came by to check in on them again. They had to wait for them to be ready. Once they were cleaned and dressed, they were given a check up to ensure their health. Everything was fine with them that the doctors could see. In fact, they were healthier than they ever had been. Blood work would be needed to be sure of that. Reilly and Layton just dismissed them instead as they no longer needed their services. That was not the end of the trouble. They were royal doctors after all. It meant that they reported everything directly to the king. It was his children involved. Being invited to tea with him and the rest of the siblings was not so much of a surprise. The invitation said it would be a good way to celebrate beating the illness. Anna shook her head. "The king is not an fool. He's going to know as soon as he lays eyes on them. They are sigma." she said. Reilly just looked at her. "Is that a bad thing?" he asked. "It's going to get intense. 3 princes, all in the same faction, became sigmas. That gives them a clear claim on their throne."
