"Stacy...please," Emily said. "Don't do this to her..."
Stacy turned on her. "You can stay here..." She said, clear she was no longer concerned with that. "I thought that was what you wanted."
Linda's hair grew from her shorter do down to a shoulder length one. At the same time, she started to look younger...Emily was a bit confused about how long she'd been trapped, but she thought she was in her mid thirties, and Linda looked to be at least five years older than she was. Or she had a few moments ago. Linda was looking increasingly fresh faced, and seemed even younger than Emily...maybe late twenties.
Stacy giggled. "Let's go home, Mommy."
Emily moved quickly...she knew that the chances of getting Stacy to change her mind were slim, but she had seen it happen. "Stacy....what about him?" She gestured at Mikey, who seemed to have returned to his homework, completely unaware of what was happening. "And the others? They love their mommy too...they'll miss her. You don't want them to be sad, do you?"
Stacy looked at her. "They need someone to take care of them too..." She said. She seemed to be thinking. "And you...you need to be taught a lesson," she decided.
"Stacy...it's time to go home..." Linda said, oblivious to the drama.
