Simon was paired up with Reilly. Owen was now going to be Ronan's primary heat partner. Both Ronan and Mitchel were upset with this. All of that fell on deaf ears. The concerns were seen as whining. "I already told you about this. Mitchel can't breach you. That means he can't knock you up. I would never support a marriage where you would not be able to have children. I let Reid and Rhys go because beta females can get pregnant. Even if they would be much better at it than them." he said when he met the end of his patience. Ronan stomped off. It was then Reilly's turn to get his father's attention. "I don't want an alpha male. Couldn't you have found an alpha female for me!? That way I could at least top her when we're not in a heat or rut." he said. Kevin rolled his eyes. "Do you know how rare alpha females are? Do you really think one would want to be mated to your dumbass!?" he snapped at him angrily. Anna just shrugged her shoulders. "Well, all we can do is live with it and move on." she said. It did not go over well with the boys. She was very confident in them.
Reilly and Ronan were way too strong to be taken against their wills. If they did not want to be marked and mated, they could simply stop their alphas. That did not mean that she was going to abandon them. Going on a few dates with them would not be a problem. Mitchel was still Ronan's official boyfriend and doubles partner. He would also be going on those dates. Owen and Simon were friends, so they were totally fine with double dating. They could not stop Anna and Rhys from also showing up. That allowed them to supervise. It was not a very good first date. They were professional and polite. Everyone knew that they were not thrown together organically. However, it soon became apparent that they were also alpha supremacists. When the waiters of the cafe asked what they would want to order, they took the menus from the omegas and ordered for them. They also had a habit of talking at the omegas instead of talking to them. They said "It's a nice day out." instead of "How's the weather?" Basically, they did not really care for their opinions. It really annoyed them both a lot.
Being that they were so independent, it caused immediate friction. All of their friends were the same way. They talked to Owen and Simon about "their" omegas. Never to the omegas themselves. Whenever Reilly or Ronan would answer for themselves, it caused a break in the conversation. Owen and Simon did not know what to do with an omega so... opinionated. They dropped them off at their home before leaving together. Owen and Simon did look like they were forcing the smiles on their faces by the end. It was the proper thing for them to do as alphas. Reilly came up to Anna to vent after the date. "What the hell was that shit!? They're so fucking weird!" he spat. It was something Anna could not really help with. "They are alphas. Clearly they look down on you. All you 2 can do is just continue to assert your independence while still being polite." "How are we supposed to do that?" Ronan asked. "Smile at their jokes or compliments. Answer every question referring to you. Never ask to do anything in your house. Get up, look at them and calmly tell them that you're doing it."
