Flying was still a problem for Anna. The children, Walter and Winston, were going to be with Kevin. The 3 of them were going to stay at Bruce's mansion. Far be it from a strong alpha male like him to cook and clean for himself for a couple of weeks. It was a problem that a staff full of servants could fix. Bruce would also probably want to observe his great-grandchildren more closely. Once they landed, Anna needed time in the hotel to recover. There was not much that she could do in that state. Both Rhys and Reilly made sure to stay by her. The Usnos Open tournament was a full week long. This was because they added another round of competition at this stage. All the tournament events were happening simultaneously. You had to keep the schedule on you at all times. No one wanted to forfeit a match because they forgot they had to be a court at a certain time. Anna and Zoe had to hustle to the event to play in the qualifiers. Once they got through it, they could play doubles in the real tournament. All that effort just to get in the main draw. That was how the cookie crumbled.
Zoe and Anna blitzed through the qualifiers and got a spot in the main draw for doubles. Anna was only doing doubles and mixed doubles. Zoe could only do doubles. At least it was something to do here. Mitchel was watching the action from the stands. So was Molly. She was pregnant, so there was an excuse to not play. This was another grass court tournament. Anna did not mind. Reilly and Zoe were reliable partners. As long as she could keep the rally going, they would figure out a way to end it in their favor. This time was not any different. Throughout the week, they were going around the complex to fight in the right matches. Zoe and Anna managed to keep up their winning streak up to the final. The opponents were a pair of alpha females. They were pretty tough, but nothing that Anna could not handle. They won the doubles championship match 6-4, 6-3. Anna was pleased to see that the opponents were still at least 15 levels lower than Reilly and his siblings. Reid and Rhys defeated Evan and Reilly in the semifinals. In the finals, they beat Ronan and Mitchel too.
The girls did not qualify for mixed doubles. That meant it was just Reilly and Anna racking up points when they won the mixed doubles title. Zoe had won in doubles, so it was a boon to her. She would definitely be able to compete in the tournament coming up. Usually she played singles and doubles. Anna asked her if she would consider partnering temporarily with either Reid or Rhys. She chose Rhys because Reid was married to Molly. Zoe said that she did not want any drama. Anna took all that at face value. Ronan absolutely dominated each and every opponent that he was put against. When he won, it was a classic Idut brother sweep. For the first time, all of the spectators in the crowd cheered for them. The boys looked shocked. Boos had been what they had been used to. It was then that they began to cry. Finally, they all had what they had longed for. The same thing happened 2 weeks later in the Eswa Open. This was a rare carpet court. It took time getting used to it all, but they won handily enough. Their heats cut their celebration short. They stayed in their hotel.
