He could have a lineage. Rhys could have this marriage to someone he actually cared about. The IPTB and TLW needed 100 world ranking points in a year before they could move up to better competition. Reid had 10 points in singles. Reilly had 2 singles points to his name. Ronan had 70. Rhys had 20 from the Aflen Open. In doubles, it was complicated to tabulate. Reid had 113 points. Reilly had exactly 122 points to his name. Ronan only had 4 points. Rhys had 113 points as well. The boys could already compete in IPTB 250 tournaments now. 100 points came from winning 5 doubles titles in a row. 10 were for being a finalist once. Their other 3 came from other times they failed to make it to the finals. Ronan and Mitchel had never made it to the finals. Reilly won the mixed doubles title 5 times. He and Evan had a bit more luck than Ronan and Mitchel. They managed to get up to the finals 2 times. Ronan was robbed of playing in the finals. If he did play, there was no doubt in Anna's mind that he would have won. He would need at least 2 more tournaments to move up.
It was a fair opinion that none of the brothers were too keen on going abroad again so soon. They went through a lot. Especially when most of the upcoming tournaments were in more conservative countries. Ronan in particular did not want to leave Breaca. That was fine. While it is said that they points were valid for a year, what actually happened was the points carried over until the next year's tournament. All of the boys started late. In theory, he could wait until the season started again. He did not even play the Aflen Open. That was going to be a free championship and 20 world ranking points. All the tournaments in Breaca that they missed would also be open for them to play. Clearly, his singles career would be overshadowed by the others in their doubles and mixed doubles. Evan and Mitchel were not too skilled, but at least Evan was able to have some good luck in the draws. It was ironic that the school and everyone around had rallied around Mitchel, only for him to do the worst out of all the boys. A lot of the girls were winning and getting finalist's plaques too. What a shame.
Waiting for more tournaments in Breaca would take time. That is when their school made a request of them. One that they had not been expecting at all. The tennis club had made it to the playoffs this year as well. The big first round was coming up and their opponents were known for being insanely strong. Not something the current line up of guys could handle. Reprising their roles would at least get them 2 points for the 2 doubles matches. They all were going pro. None of them wanted to do it. They had been benched at every practice. It was Anna that convinced them otherwise. "You might as well do it. None of you quit the club after all this time. Why not go to the playoffs. It's not like you're going for tournaments." "But they don't deserve our help!" Ronan spat. Anna shrugged. "They don't. But you have a big chance. Show them, once and for all that you belonged on the team. They need you. Not the other way around." she said. The decided to do it. The Idut brothers led them to another national championship. This time, the Awakened division. They got to lift their trophy.
