Thankfully, there was another Futures Tour event in Breaca. It was the Napria Open. Most of the tennis tournaments in Breaca were on hard courts. There were a few exceptions. The Napria Open was in the countryside. It was a rare grass court tournament for people to compete in. However, that was the last one for the year. The few others had already taken place. Everyone practiced together after school in the park. The omega males could not do so during school hours. Anna, Marcus, Barnett and even Thom ran the security for them. No one was allowed to get in the way of sharpening their skills. Playing on grass was different than playing on a hard surface. Still, some practice for the tournament was better than no practice. Especially for the rusty Evan and the inexperienced Mitchel on the team. Evan's parents were very similar to the Idut parents. It was fine if they won. That boosted the prestige of their family. The alpha head could take all the credit. If they started to lose matches consistently, or something bad happened to them, the plug would be pulled on their careers.

Doing the work often paid off. The same 8 got into the van 3 weeks later and then left for the tournament. Due to the novelty, lots of people signed up for it. Less than half actually showed up on the day. That was still enough to fill in every draw. All 9 managed to get on the main draw. They had the points for it. Being there for the shit show that was the Epyre Open really boosted their standings in the JPL. There was no need for qualifiers or alternate lists anymore. In the boys singles, Ronan won. It was not as easy as it was for him on hard court. There were also alphas that tried to use pheromones on him. He dropped a couple of games due to that. Rallying strong, he got the win in the finals 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. In the boys doubles, Reid and Rhys went against Ronan and Mitchel in the first round. Then they faced Reilly and Evan in the second. It was a ploy. After beating them, it was smooth sailing to victory. In the girl's singles, Zoe got to the finals. She took home 10 points. Zoe and Anna won the doubles. Anna and Reilly won their mixed doubles after facing the others back to back again.

Obviously, the organizers were trying to shut them out. That did not matter to the main team one bit. What mattered were the points gained by even attending. Doing the research, the IPTB and TLW needed 100 world ranking points in a year before they could move up to better competition. Reid had 10 points in singles. Reilly had 1 point to his name. Ronan had 40. Rhys had 20 from winning the Aflen Open. In doubles competition, it was much more complicated than that. Reid had 71 points. Reilly had exactly 71 as well. Ronan had 2 points. Rhys had 62 points. The boys were close to getting to the IPTB Tour 250 tournaments. Anna was more than "pretty close". She had the 100 points needed to rank up. She had won all the mixed doubles titles at Aflen, Epyre and Napria. Anna also won the doubles in Epyre and Napria. She could go to Ladies' World Tour competitions. Teaming with Zoe had been very profitable for Anna. Zoe had 40 points in doubles and 2 points in singles. Mitchel had 2 points in doubles. Evan had 11 points. Both had 1 point in singles. Those were all great.
