However, those were problems for better ranked competitors. Anna, Reid, Reilly, Ronan and Rhys were still in the Futures Tour. Mixed doubles gave out points as if they were in a doubles match with 2 members of the same sex. It meant her ranking would increase for doubles in the TWL as well. Thinking more on it, they gave Ronan a massive advantage. He was playing singles and doubles. Even if Mitchel held him back, they would still score the points for getting as far as they could. None of the others could say the same. They would all be jockeying for position in the doubles rankings. Maybe they would need to get more partners going forward. Reid and Rhys could find some female players. Reilly could find himself a beta male. The group cleaned up the Aflen Open. They lived in the city. The next tournament in Breaca was in another week. That was the Epyre Open. Epyre was a city far to the south of the country. It was a full day by car on the highway. Preparing for it was important. Anna proposed the additional partner idea to Reid, Rhys and Reilly. They were for it.

Paying for the registration for 3 beta girls in the club was not hard. There were a few that were unsure about the arrangement. At the end of the day, it was a free trip to see if they could go pro one day. Alicia White, Molly Jordan and Zoe Campbell were their names. Alicia was with Reid, Molly was with Rhys. Anna would pair up with Zoe in female doubles competition. Evan was the boy that Reilly had chosen to pair up with. Anna was surprised that he would choose an omega male. Evan Thaddeus was in the same year as the Idut brothers. He had signed the resignation form from the club. His father drove him down here and they met and sign in. This way, all 4 of the Idut brothers were in 2 competitions. Seeing as they were both doubles draws, their rankings in doubles would go up quicker than Ronan's. Their father had to rent a van to bring everybody to the tournament and back. He did not like having to drive 8 high schoolers across the country. It was his job as the head of the house. He was not going to let his omega husband do it. When the group got there, they signed in.

Just as Anna thought, they were put on the alternates list for the new competitions. They could not stone wall them for the competitions they won in the Aflen Open. Their impressive 20 points put them above most of the people that signed up. They still all got in their main draws. Devotion for the sport was key. Showing up on the day was sometimes half the battle for Future Tour and Women's Tour events. Not a lot of people wanted to come down to Epyre. In fact, only 27 boys showed up for singles. 24 girls showed up for singles. Doubles was even worse. There were only 8 teams for the girl's doubles. 12 teams for the boy's doubles. There were only 4 teams for mixed doubles. It was a total shit show. Anna and Reilly beat a pair of randoms to get to the finals. Reid and Alicia beat the team of Rhys and Molly. Anna and Reilly won the tournament. Anna and Zoe blitzed through the doubles tournament. Zoe actually knew what she was doing. Anna had the stats to keep a rally going. She had endurance to outlast other girls. Molly made a decent run into the girl's singles tournament.

Being a semifinalist got her 1 point. It was a decent start to their careers. Alicia got 10 points for being a finalist in mixed doubles. Zoe won in doubles and logged 20 big world ranking points. Anna had 40 from winning. The boy's doubles draw was super messy. Because 12 was not a good number for a draw. What they wanted to do was eliminate the omegas. That could not be done. Reid, Reilly, Ronan and Rhys had more points in doubles than most of the competitors. Evan had 0, but that just meant their team averaged 10 points. With that not possible, they decided to run the round of 16. The 4 empty slots were at the bottom. Reilly and Evan faced a pair of alphas right above those slots. The idea being that the alphas would be given a bye round later on. That back fired. Reid and Rhys ended up facing Ronan and Mitchel in the semifinals. Mitchel hit way too many outs. The bye sent the pair of Reilly and Evan straight to the finals after beating a pair of betas in the quarterfinals. Evan was more rusty than Mitchel was. Evan had still earned himself 10 world ranking points.
