Doing this was actually advantageous. People seemed to think that the Idut Brothers were less protected with them out of the party. More and more people came to get a look at them. Most of them were disrespectful. If they got passed a certain line in proximity or in conduct, Anna would engage them. Barnett and Marcus still had their bokken. Those were the wooden practice swords that they had to buy as members of the club. With the influx of sexist betas and alphas, it was easy to level the newbies up. Anthony, Conner and Corbett were watching them from afar. It was nice to have their support. The twins never got in the way of a fight, but it seemed that they still did not think too highly of the omegas Anna hung around. She offered to date all 3 of them. Expanding the harem sounded great in Anna's mind. Barnett and Thom agreed readily. Marcus was only into guys, so he declined. That was a fine reason to reject her. She was now dating 8 boys. The twins could count as one because they usually asked her out together. That was 7 dates with 7 days. Anna really liked it too.

Not every single day was a date, but they tended to cascade. They had time in the schedule. None of Anna's inner circle were alphas. With that being the case, that was not a concern at all. Reid, Reilly, Ronan and Rhys were in the junior pro league already. Obviously, they would not go to events in countries where they were going to be targets of discrimination. They could go with their father to tournaments in more egalitarian nations. Their omega male mother could travel with them to countries that favored omegas over alphas. The same competition scheme was in operation when abroad. Ronan would enter singles competition alone. He and Mitchel, his boyfriend, could enter doubles as well. Reid and Rhys would enter doubles. Reilly and Anna would be in the mixed doubles. Mitchel was never a danger to Reid and Rhys, so it was fine to let him join in. Because he was a beta male, he was a darling of the school. The club coach was his personal coach and the school hired a manager for him. That worked well. He was partners with Ronan. The other brothers simply followed.

Rankings for males were done by the IPTB. It stood for the International Professional Tennis Board. All regulations and tournament accreditations came from them. They were the ruling body of the sport. Rankings for the female athletes were handled by the TLW. That was the Tennis League for Women. The largely agreed with the IPTB, but they also had other regulations for women in the sport. A few extra tournaments and less games to secure victory were major differences. For men's singles you needed best 3 out of 5 sets with 6 games. The winner of the set had to win by 2 games or there would be a tiebreak. In men's doubles, it was best 2 out of 3 sets. For the women in singles competition, it was 2 out of 3 sets with no tiebreaker. You had to go until you won by 2 games. In doubles and mixed doubles, it was 2 out of 3 sets with a tiebreak only in the first 2 sets. The third set went on for as long as it needed to go. This was the standard whether it was played on hard court, grass court, clay court, or carpets. They ranked the top 1000 tennis players. Others were unranked.

Pursuing a top ranking required going to officially recognized tournaments and winning matches. That was obvious. What was not obvious to Anna was how the scoring worked. She had to look it up on line. She could have just asked, but she felt it was a bit late for that. Her research bore fruit. In general, tennis tournaments are divided into different categories. Depending on their size and popularity, participants have the chance to earn a certain number of world ranking points. The more the better. The beginning is the same for every professional tennis player. To be able to participate in major tennis tournaments at all, they must have a certain number of world ranking points in their account. However, it is impossible to have points if you have not yet played in tournaments. In this case the Future Tour, organized by the JPL, comes into play. That was the junior pro league they were in. Futures are smaller tournaments that are designed to help players get their first world ranking points. A tournament victory is rewarded with up to 20 points and a big prize of 15,000 – 20,000 lin.
