Rebecca was left in the sitting room on her own for a few minutes as the Kid (Jon) had gone to his room to get something called a laptop. Since she couldn’t help him with details from the show beyond the point she had left it he had said something about using the internet whatever that was.
“Way to go, girl. Riley was always a sucker for a pretty face.” She said smiling at the screen.
The woman she was watching may have somehow taken her place in Mr. S’ office but she was good at it. She was still trying to deal with the fact that she had up until an hour ago been nothing or than a character on a TV show now here she was a real-life person. Not only that but somehow she was now in the future, before she had found herself here she was in 1958 it was somewhere in the 2020s. How had that happened she wondered.
One part of her wanted to explore this new world but the kid had told her not to move from in front of the TV. Something about “Spoilers” was all he would say when she asked him why. Part of her wanted to go back to the world had known so well before all of this. A small but growing part of her was wondering if there was some way of her staying where she now was but how would that work?
Upstairs
Jon had found his laptop in seconds and was about to head back down to see what Rebecca was doing. He wasn’t sure if he should have left her on her own but he needed information and he thought the internet was the best place to find it. He did find it strange that Rebecca couldn’t remember anything about the show she had been a part of the show for decades now so why wouldn’t she remember? Then he stopped and realized that for this version of Rebecca, those things hadn’t happened yet. He was asking her to remember things from episodes that she had yet to live through.
If she had been from season three episode eleven she would have known everything that happened in episode ten but if she had come from episode nine so the events of episode ten had never happened. Anyway, he needed the information and so turned to the internet. He grabbed a tight hold of the laptop and headed downstairs to find Rebecca still sitting in front of the TV.
