Seeing that they were stuck, Anna decided to press the issue. "If you already are dating someone, I understand it. People are pairing up a lot now that the test results are in. Especially omegas." she said. Both of them flinched at that. She purposefully blinked and looked surprised. It was all a game. "Oh, do you guys know any omegas?" she asked them. Blake was quick to say "No! We don't." Colby nodded furiously. Anna shrugged her shoulders. "I guess you haven't seen any of the major match making happen because you guys are so busy on the roof." she teased. They gave her nervous laughter back. Anna smiled charmingly and asked "So how about it, Colby!? Can we go on a date after school today!?" It really was not in his best interest to just turn me down point blank. His ass was literally on the line. Colby rubbed the back of his head nervously. "What homeroom are you in?" he asked her. The twins were in class 3-10. She was in 3-6. "Hmmm. I'll think about it today." he said. That was a pretty non-committal answer. He was letting her down very easy and also protecting himself.
Anna already knew that they were omegas. If they were not going to buck the rules of the gang they were part of, they would be mounted by alphas. She was level 1. Her combat ability was low. There was no way that she was going to take on a whole gang of delinquents just to date a single boy. As a member of the Newspaper Club, she got access to the gossip that was going on in the school. In class 3-3, there was a bit of news everyone had been talking about. A group of quadruplets had all become omegas. That was news worthy in and of it self. Something else about them was that they had been on the tennis team before this. Because there were 4 of them, they had competed in both singles and doubles competitions for the school. While they were simply mediocre in singles, they had dominated in doubles. Winning school team tournaments was a cinch with them. It was their strong presence that took them to nationals 2 years in a row. The school were national champions last year in the less prestigious Unawakened division. That was for all students that had no second gender.
Now that they were omega males, they were all being pressured into resigning from the team. They loved the sport and did not want to resign. People were saying that it was only a matter of time before they were forced out. As a beta female, this would not be a problem for her. This country only discriminated against omegas. Especially the omega males. It was a benign sexism for the females. Girls were praised for being cuter and more fertile than the normal parameters set by the betas. Boys were not really supposed to be submissive and breedable. Alpha females were seen as a tolerable anomaly. Who the hell was going to tell an alpha, male or female, what they could or could not do? Even though they were the super majority, the strongest beta male would not stand a chance against an alpha female. With this scoop, Anna had wanted to find more. Going into their classroom, she could see them with a blank sheet of paper on their desks. The 4 boys were talking amongst themselves, actively ignoring them. Getting closer, she saw that they were the 4 big club resignation forms.
