If he wanted to fight us, we could fight it out. I pulled out a dagger and cast Steel Wind Strike on him. With my new level of 294, I did serious damage. I was able to slash at him 5 times. "You think it's funny? Walking in the areas that the devils fucked up as an incubus from the Hells!? Then you fucks killed some of my men. You're not leaving here." "Alive!?" I asked. He chuckled darkly. "And let you escape back to that shithole you call home?" he said in anger. He then paused for a moment. Finally, he said "No. Fucking some proud little incubi's ass will be a fun time. You're just not leaving at all." He went hostile to us and I was surprised. He was a boss. Traniros was a balor. It was not something I was warned about. Balors are some of the most powerful demons in existence. With a huge frame and terrifying combat ability, they make powerful soldiers. But beyond combat, balors are also intelligent and tactical masters, hence the natural position as generals of the Abyss. Humanoid in appearance but about twice the height and weighing in at 4,500lb, balors are imposing figures.

They all have large, bat-like wings that further enlarge their appearance and also allow swift movement around the battlefield, despite their large, muscular frame. Flying did not matter to me. We all could except for the greater water elemental. Their sharp teeth drip with venom and their claws are huge, but, despite having these natural weapons, balors prefer to wield a lightning sword and a flame whip. If I could not have the ice spear, I would take these as trophies. Their bright red skin is covered in scorching hot flames, but are also shrouded in a partial darkness. With an insanely high CR of 19, they spawned in at level 76. It was crazy. This one was level 87. That meant something. He was a veteran in this war. After we whittled him down to half health. I charmed this behemoth of an enemy. He did not stand a single chance with how powerful I was. I stole his weapons and then I cast a few more spells from a distance. The magic sword and the whip were huge. As an incubus, I was considered a medium sized creature. After medium size came a large and then a huge size.

Killing him caused a very big problem. I did not know that balors had a very special ability. It was called Death Throes. When balors die, they explode, and each creature within a 30 foot radius of it must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking serious fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The explosion ignites flammable objects in that area that aren’t being worn or carried, and it destroys the balor’s weapons. I was far enough to escape it. The greater water elemental was not so lucky. He was totally obliterated. That was sad. We had 3 kids together. He also was the reason that the greater fire elemental was kept at bay. I would have to deal with that one now. If it had a chance to resolve peacefully, I would go for it. I had my doubts. There was also the fact we had 3 kids together. I would have to raise them on my own. First things first, we had to get the hell out of the area. I could already hear sirens. Since we had the weapons, I went to the arcane shop. I wanted to know if there was a way to reforge them in a size I could use. They said yes.
