Just as I thought, our Abyssal managers had been leaving things to the last minute again. That was a good thing actually. After explaining Eliza's importance, both Seran and Torryd nodded at me. "Yeah. We'll spread the word to the whelps." Seran said smoothly. Torryd shrugged and added "Mazerrith can go on at any time. Coltaran just hates dancing in the afternoon. The losers that come in the afternoon are poorer and more pathetic than those at night." I knew that was the case with patrons from running The Wreck. The real money was not made until the night. As I was leaving Club Wrecked, Farenez called out to me. "Mazerrith is your favorite now. Where can I fit in?" he asked. Looking him up and down, I said "If you really want to be owned by me, all you have to do is ask me." He simply shook his head. He did not want to be owned. Not by me at least. Even Mazerrith said that he did not see me as a dominant figure. Fiends only submitted when they were made to. Mazerrith had to take a big chance on me because Farenez was also trying to dominate him. He dreaded it.

Keeping up with both clubs was important. This was my responsibility as the leader. As soon as I got over to The Wreck, I pulled Kyle and Myles aside. I wanted to speak to them about how things were going. I also wanted to see if there was somewhere in the city that we could go to for a treat. Going somewhere with them would be fun. It seemed that there were going to be hot air balloon rides soon. They said that it would be nice to see it happen in purpose. "Maybe it can give you some insights on your element. Let's go." I said. Both of them were air elementals. Kyle and Myles seemed pleased to be going. After talking about that, Kyle looked more serious. "There was a guest that came in a bit after you left." he opened. Myles nodded his head in agreement. "Did they leave a name?" I asked. They shook their heads. "It was definitely a fiend through. There was something about him that made me uncomfortable to be around him. It was like everything got colder the moment he frowned." Myles added. A new fiend here could be really bad for us. Especially so soon after the bombing.

Losing everything we worked so hard for as a team was unacceptable. I still had a few leads. Nyrear, Grulilan and Zaranarax were all working security. One of them had to have seen this guest. If they did, they would be able to tell me some more about them. Grulilan and Zaranarax had both seen the fiend. Grulilan was working the floor and Zaranarax was at the hallway to keep intruders from the backrooms unless with a dancer. Zaranarax had let him come over and speak to Kyle and Myles as they were running some numbers in the back. The fiend was in the club for half an hour before and after the conversation with the air elementals. Grulilan immediately clocked him as a devil on first sight. Zaranarax confirmed that. From what they were able to gather, whoever this guy was, he was an ice devil. I had not clue what one would want with me or the club. Maybe he was friends with Hollin. That could be a reason for him to reach out to us. Hollin was often hard to reach when we wanted to get hold of him. Maybe, this would be a more permanent contact. We would have to see.
