Finally, it was time to close for the night. I left Mazerrith in the VIP lounge for a bit to make a phone call. I called Kyle and Myles. They were in the process of closing. Now that I was on the line, I asked the air elementals if anyone came in looking to cause problems. They were fine with the guests. Security handled the riff raff, but they were the normal hotheads and touchy feely guys. "Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow afternoon." I said before hanging up the phone. They were also mine. Maybe I would go on a date with them too. I then gathered up everyone in Club Wrecked together. It was time to make my speech. Gathering them, they were still a bit down from the news. Vohrear and Ororin were both absolutely beaming. My speech was very conciliatory to them. I made sure to play up the fact that they struck first. The demons fucked with me. I taught them a lesson. "We are all stronger and better than those demons! We don't need them. If you see one around the club, report them to me. I will take care of it!" Most of them were satisfied by the end of the passionate speech.
I dismissed them for the night. There was nothing that they needed to do at the moment. I had to focus on getting ready for my huge date with Mazerrith. I did not want a single thing to fuck up. This was his very special day. The things we could do at 4:30 in the morning were very limited. We would have to wait until a good day came. As soon as it was light out, we hit the streets. We just went to the bathhouse, so there was no need to go again. When he told me he heard about an event in the park, I took him. There was a small zoo enclosure that was opening. Because it was being advertised, many residents were out as well. Entry was free for today only. Mazerrith seemed just as interested in the people attending as he was about the animals on display. We saw tigers, ducks, geese, goats, chickens, pigs, bats, a pair of zebras and some aquatic animals in a separate building. That was where we saw them. I was surprised they had sharks, dolphins, a ton of fish and a group of 7 penguins. Mazerrith left after seeing and reading about all the animals. We still had some time to kill.
Going the long way back home, we passed an alleyway. Mazerrith stopped me by quickly spreading his arm out in front of me. I paused and looked at him. "What is it?" I asked him. He gave me a predatory look. "A great meal. I want it. We still have time, right?" he said. I smirked at him. "You remember the rules. Keep your human form and don't kill them." was all I said. That was all he needed to hear before he began walking down the alley. Halfway down the block, we saw that someone was getting a shakedown. Being accosted by thugs was not fun. She looked like she was going to piss herself in fear. Mazerrith's eyes scanned them all. He wanted the one with the rich mana. All the others were not important. He then smiled wide and pointed at the girl. As an incubus, he was confident in his charms. "Sorry guys. I know it's rare, but the lady is with me." he said out loud. The leader of the thugs only gave him one look. "Kill them." he snarled. The 3 men leaped into action. Mazerrith slaughtered them all with his claws. The leader pissed himself and ran away. The girl thanked him.
