Looting was an essential right of the victors. Going through all the piles left behind by enemies, we found a lot of goodies. For starters, they had a lot of human currency. I counted about 34,000 dollars between them. They all lived and worked here. The currency that was more important was souls. There were 1743. Demons like to auction things off. That meant things went to the highest bidder. Of course all the magic weapons and tools that they were using on us were up for grabs. Lots of them were just masterwork blades that granted a bonus to damage and chance to hit. There were some gems of course. The flaming sword went to Kyle. There was a longsword that did cold damage. That was for Myles. The wand went to Grulilan and Zaranarax took the scythe that on the ground. The sycthe was magic. The gimmick was that if you did critical damage, you instantly beheaded the opponent for the win if it could not live without a head. That was most things you would encounter in the Mortal Plane. As those were the most interesting things, the rest was all burned in a fire. It was time to go.

Nothing was left after a few hours. The fire department responded to it, but it was much too late. We fled out the back before it was too late. Luckily we had the big gang house to regroup in. Everyone, me included, was in terrible shape. I knew what we could do. I told everyone to wait. I went to the hospital and stole 2 oxygen tanks. It was always in the same place. Even if it was locked up somewhere else, I was in the Ethereal Plane. A locked door could not stop me. Bringing it back to the house was easy. They were able to integrate it into their bodies and heal that way. "Meditate on your element if you have some left over." I told them. I wandered away from them to look at the others. I had no clue what would heal fiends. Normal healing magic was not something we had access to. Asking a cleric to do it was not going to work out well for us. Why we were thinking it over, I heard groaning in the room I left the air elementals in. I rushed over to see them writhing on the floor. I hurried to their sides and nudged them urgently. "What happened!? Where does it hurt!?" I demanded, upset.

Quite frankly, nothing was going right. Green energy slowly bled out of their bodies and floated above them. This continued until it formed a massive ball and their bodies disappeared completely. The balls of energy swirled in all directions before sinking in on itself. Eventually, they exploded in my face. I almost died. The incubi heard me yelp in pain and came over. In the place of where Kyle and Myles were once laying down on the floor, new bodies were in their places. These new bodies were blond with a long ponytail. Even with them laying down, I could see they were 4 inches taller. Gently rousing them, I got them to wake up. They were tired, but amazed with the result of their advancement. "Wow. I feel so much... lighter." Kyle said as he flexed his arms in front of his eyes. Myles felt his exposed midriff. The outfit they had was a bit weird, but it worked to give an enlightened atmosphere about them. "Yeah. It's like I'm even more in tune with the air than before." he added in agreement. I was really happy for them. For an elemental, advancement like this was a near sacred occurrence.
