Acer, Biff, Drexel and Nico Solaris were all very rebellious boys. I could instantly see why that was. Their society was not easy on them. People mocked them all for who their mother was. Connor was high leveled. He was able to bounce back relatively quickly from the pregnancy. He was much more pudgy than before, but he was still in good shape. Connor never skipped leg day. His arm, back and chest days were resumed after he was cleared by a doctor. When the doctor told him that light exercise was okay, he probably had in mind stretching and household chores. Nope. I made sure that we bought enough personal gym equipment for him to stay in shape. He did it in the morning and at night before bed. Thanks to that dedication, those areas were pretty toned again within a couple months. We barely afforded the apartment when there were 2 of us. When their were 6 of us, we really had to downsize in order to continue living in the city. It was fine of Connor to choose breast feeding the kids. That did not mean that they did not need clothes and support. It really sucked to move out.

Being that Connor only had a high school diploma, he was not going to get any really good jobs. The same was broadly true for me. Government assistance did not help us. They liked omegas having children. They did not like any omegas having children out of wedlock. Especially when the father was a beta loser. I was far from that, but it was all they saw when they looked at me. I had dyed green hair, girly tattoos and no connections. Due to that, it was not something they wanted to help with. If Connor was to sign up to the program, he would have to fit the mold that society wanted. He would need to either marry me or sign a restraining order against me. He would not be allowed to work and he would be sent of dates with loser alphas that only just crossed the threshold during school, but still had no connections. Once he matched with one, he would be bred and need to have children with the alpha. Marriage was only optional, but he would be pumping out "proper children" on the government's dime for the rest of his fertile life. Obviously, he turned it all down. I was shit out of luck too.

Crime really was the only way to go at that point. Since we were both stronger than everyone else in the shitty neighborhood our studio apartment was in, we could get in on some under the table work. Work that actually paid us good money. Both of us were able to find an underground fighting ring. I could knock people out really quickly. I sometimes thought of self imposed challenges to keep things fresh. There was no point even warming up. All of our success did not mean that things were easy. People resented Connor. He was an omega that could obliterate even the meanest alpha in the ring. He had to wear the collars to participate in the fights. We did not trust any of them. Any alpha could try to bite his neck in the middle of a fight. We fought in the bare knuckle brawl division. It was no holds barred, so anything was legal as long as you did not have a weapon. Even then, some assholes tried to use tasers or inject us with drugs before or after a match. That was annoying. I just killed those people. In a place like this, they all had it coming. No one would report the death that happened.
