"I love you, Joseph. Marry me, please." The words came out of Jon's mouth as naturally as if it was a proposal Jon had been waiting to make.
Joseph's heart stopped. He stood there for a moment in shock, the woman who he had admired and pursued for so many years was now standing before him, dressed like she was ready to hit the beach. But more than that, she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him. The words were still ringing in his ears. This was a dream come true. The woman of his dreams was standing before him and she was finally ready to love him.
"Uh, sure. Let's do it."
Jon was mortified. He had tried to push Joseph into making the wrong wish, but now he was about to become Mrs. Williams, the bride of his best friend. This could be the worst mistake Jon had ever made, but there was nothing he could do to change things now. He had already said 'I do'.
Joseph had already had the ring he planned to give his future wife. He pulled it out of his pocket and slipped it onto the finger of his bride-to-be. Jon had never seen the ring, but as he watched Joseph slide the wedding band on his finger, Jon knew that he was about to be a married woman.
Jon planted a deep kiss on Joseph's lips. "You have no idea how much I love you right now." Jon looked down at his new engagement ring. "God, I wish we didn't have to wait, I'm excited to be Mr. Williams!"
Before Jon understood what had happened, he found himself standing before of a crowd of people with Joseph standing in front of him. Jon's hand was outstretched and Joseph placing a ring on his finger. He quickly realized that his body was tightly wrapped in a beautiful white dress and the crowd of people next to him was filled with Joseph and Jon's closest family. He forgot that the original wishing rock was still in his pocket and his last wish caused the new couple to travel forward in time to the night of their wedding.
