"Whatever," Kyla said, dismissively.
Sarah paused. Something was wrong here as she looked at the dismissive look on Kyla's face. A million thoughts were going through her mind until she hit on something. "Fascinating," she murmured.
Kyla ignored her, and tried to open the door again, as the mist continued to swarm around them.
"Why are you doing that?" Sarah asked.
"Duh...I want out of here," Kyla said.
"That thing did something to you....you are acting very aggressive all of the sudden."
"You mean when that thing rammed itself down my throat? Why are you so calm?" Kyla practically growled. Sarah backed up a bit, putting her hands in front of her as if to defend against an attack.
"I'm not...I just...am studying the situation instead of whatever you're doing.." Sarah said. "Which...thinking about it is a change in itself."
"Well, maybe you want to stand there like a mouse and wait for this, but I don't!" Kyla said.
"Kyla...think about this...there's nothing we can do...we're trapped," Sarah insisted softly, shifting from leg to leg.
Increasingly though, Kyla was not thinking about it. She wanted out of the room, and that need was what she was focused on. "If you have such great ideas, Mouse...why don't you share one?"
"Don't call me that."
"What? Why not? That's how you're acting...like a timid little..."
Sarah was becoming increasingly flustered by the behavior.
