Finally seeing movement, I decided to go inside. When I entered the room, I immediately felt the freezing temperature. Shivering, I moved over to Liam. He was still on his back. I stood over him and waited for him to get up. As I waited, he looked at me in confusion. "Who are you?" he asked. He was not breathing as he said it. Clearly, I saw that he did not trust me. He was not even using his organ to heat the area. "I'm Brianne. You should know me as the clan engineer of PBJ Clan. I bought you. Let's get you home." Liam did not look convinced. I reached out a hand to help him up. He did not take it. Watching him slowly get to his feet, I let my hand drop. "Hey. Let me have your AEP organ." I said. This got me a very deep frown from him. "Why should you have that? It's part of my body?" he pushed back. I just wanted it. We could replicate them in our labs. Imagine all of our AEP units having fully operational Heat AEP organs. As hybrids, their 2 organs were at half power. Using gold nanites, they got up to the level their pure bred peers. This would be full power at a standard level.

I looked at him expectantly. Liam did not seem to want to do it for me. That was entirely understandable. I still wanted it though. Looking me directly in the eyes, he asked in a flat tone "Is that seriously your request?" I nodded. I wanted it. This was simply a whim of mine, but that was still something that I wanted. Obviously, it was a selfish thing to ask for. I knew that. He knew that. Everyone watching us from beyond the one way glass knew that. None of that mattered one bit in this moment. I bought him. I was not going to let him leave until he gave me what I wanted. Frowning deeply, he reached towards his forehead. Gritting his teeth and straining, he eventually pushed out a metallic device. "Here. This is my AEP organ." he said. "Thank you Liam. Tell me when you reform another one and it goes operational." I said. He looked at me curiously, but nodded his head. I did not want him totally without a way to defend himself if we got ambushed by Phobia. It only took a minute for his new organ to fully go online. That was good. The members of Phobia did not like that I led him out the room.

Getting this far was a start. "Well, this is everything I was promised. I'll be leaving with Liam now." I said after a deep shiver. The black room was extremely cold. Liam did not say anything. He was just staring a Laura. She was a member of Phobia. She was not going to have a sudden change of heart and demand him for herself. She only looked at him like a science experiment. I did have a question. What could they do with an AEP organ. They took the designs of cyborg weapons all the time. All of the syndicates did this. Never had an AEP unit fallen into their hands. Obviously, cyborgs did not like giving up their organs. It was a critical piece of their bodies and it was how they all protected themselves. "Why don't you give Laura your AEP organ? That way she can study it. She also might want a way to keep in contact with you. After I return you to your clan, you can't leave the clan building until the siege is over." I offered out loud. Everyone looked shocked. Liam looked from me to Laura. "Would you like that!? I can also connect to your phone so you can always call directly." he asked.
