They both agreed the food was amazing, and it wasn’t long until the plates were completely empty. As was the bottle of champagne as Linda refilled both their glasses for the fifth and final time.
“Wow” Zoe sighed as she bit into one last chocolate covered strawberry “that was delicious!” She added as she picked up her glass and took a sip to wash the food down.
“You’re telling me Babe!” Linda replied leaning back on the couch, “they really know how to treat their guests” she added, taking the last strawberry out of the bowl and biting into it.
“Except for the magic clothes!” Zoe chuckled.
“For what it’s worth” Linda replied with a mouth full of strawberry, “you do look really beautiful” she winked. Zoe felt her face flush, it felt nice getting the compliment, and coupled with the buzz from the champagne she felt almost giddy.
“And you look pretty handsome yourself Honey” she replied, “well, except for the chocolate on your face” she grinned.
“What? Where?” Linda asked, looking around for a reflective surface.
“I’ll get it” Zoe chuckled as she scooted along the couch to sit next to Linda. She licked her thumb and gently pressed it against Linda’s lower lip and wiped away the smear of chocolate. Linda felt herself shiver with excitement at Zoe’s gentle touch, and she watched as she slowly licked her thumb clean.
“Did you get it all?” She asked in a near breathy whisper. Zoe dropped her gaze to Linda’s lips and leaned a little closer. She found her heart racing with a mix of excitement, and trepidation.
“I think…” she began slowly, “there might be a little bit left” she purred. Then she moved forward deliberately and planted her lips into Linda’s. Linda was momentarily surprised at first, but was soon overwhelmed by the pleasurable feelings of Zoe’s soft lips on her own. Before she even realised it, she was kissing her.
They remained locked together for what felt like an eternity, before Zoe finally broke away and sat back, looking dreamily at Linda who looked a little stunned. Zoe couldn’t tell if it was the buzz from the champagne, or something else, but she felt a newfound sense of confidence. She felt empowered by the reaction she had just elicited from the woman across from her. Her ‘husband’ opened and shut her mouth a few times.
“Babe…” she began.
“Oh my god!” Zoe interrupted, placing her hand over her mouth so that her fingertips were resting on her lips.
“Yeah…” Linda stammered, “what was that? Not that it wasn’t nice, but…”
“Not that Honey” Zoe interrupted, “I’ve just remembered something…” she trailed off.
“What?” Linda asked, feeling a whole host of different confusions. Zoe leaned forward again and placed her lips alongside Linda’s ear, and in a breathy whisper she said,
“I’m not wearing any panties”
