Max continued, "Since the wish just said 'qualities,' I wonder if you could be changed in ways other than just physically."
Jon shuddered. "What do you mean?"
"Give you magic powers."
"What?!"
"You want to get the stone back from that Sarah chick, right? Before she has a chance to screw up the world?"
"Of course," said Jon. "But how am I gonna get magic powers? I'd have to be looking at someone else who has them."
"Yeah, but we know pictures will work, because you saw that 'Tomb Raider' poster," pointed out Max. "And I've got some stuff on my computer upstairs -- in fact, I think I know just what to have you look at. There's just gonna be one problem."
"What's that?" asked Jon.
"Do you think you'd find a woman with magic powers attractive?"
Jon had to think about it.
