“Ha, I know it’s only been less than a day since we saw each other, but I’m allowed to miss my girlfriend, right?”
Jessica hesitated. She couldn’t tell if Karyn had meant a girl friend, or a girlfriend, her mind went spinning. Were they in a relationship now? Did she liked this or not? Had Jennifer changed something to cause it? Why was she now permanently lost?
“Let’s go, I’m starving” Karyn said grabbing a jacket and leading the way outside.
Jess felt not only lost, but everyone around her seemed so at ease, while she hadn’t even had time to change the clothes she had put on that morning. And she still couldn’t figure out if Karyn and her were dating.
