Questioning them about it any more would only make him seem dumb. He looked over at Fabien. As someone who made it through the last recruitment cycle, he was in charge of the squad as the seventh member. "Make that make sense!" Henri scoffed nervously. Henri did not get it. Fabien pinched the bridge of his nose. "Apparently, they are splitting each of you up for partnering. There are 10 weeks and 5 possible partners. 2 weeks per partner would do the trick." he said. Henri nodded his head and waited him to continue. "If they take you back to back starting from week 3, you won't be done with them until the sixth week. At that point, it will be too late to get to 5 in time for the deadline. You will fail." Fabien explained. That was a nasty trick. Henri crossed his arms. "Who's to say I can't synchronize with you or the others? It has only been 1 try. We have 9 more to go." he protested. Remi's smirk made Henri want to punch him in the mouth. Fabien sighed. "That's up to you an your partner. Maybe the next week will see you form that connection. Xanadu is demanding, but it is not fickle."
Xanadu was the name of the program that was used for the cockpit simulator. Fabien would know about it. Henri shrugged and took a step back. There was no real point in fighting with him. At the end of the day, he needed the results to back up his claim to the space. As much as he hated to admit it, Noel and Remi were in the lead. Just as he was going to say something to thank him, Calvin exclaimed "What the hell are you talking about, Guy!?" The outburst gained the attention of everyone in the room all at once. Guy did not say much of anything. Everyone had practically given up on the possibility of having a conversation with him. Calvin was the lone exception. Guy did not seem appreciative of the gesture. If anything, he was even more cold to his jokester partner. Now, suddenly, he had not only said something, but something very offensive. Fabien quickly walked over to the pair check on them. "Is something the matter guys?" he asked. Calvin looked a bit embarrassed. "Sorry about it. Guy said he wanted to Top next time. It surprised me. That's all." It seemed he overreacted to that.
Yapping was second nature to him. There was no doubt that Calvin could forget his surroundings and make noise. "Oh. Okay. Is there a problem with that?" Fabien tried to ask. It was for his own understanding, but it seemed all common sense had long went out of the window. "Well, look at me. Then look at Guy. Do you think he can Top me? Besides, why switch up on me all of a sudden?" Calvin said. Guy just glared harshly at him. Fabien shook his head. "C'mon Calvin. You heard the instructors. It isn't a bad idea to experiment with different roles and partners every now and then. He hasn't done anything wrong by asking you." he said. Calvin looked like he was going to say something. Luckily, Fabien cut him off. "Besides, don't you think it's rude to say Guy can't Top just because of how he looks?" he said to chastise him. Calvin looked at him and flinched when he saw how Guy was looking at him. He decided to go to his bed and lie down. Henri had an idea. He looked at Adam and said "Let's switch up next week." Adam looked like he wanted to protest. Henri put a hand on his shoulders.
