The next two weeks went by quickly for Jon...at least after he learned how to work the TV remote with his paws. He'd spend most of his time watching shows...some of which he hadn't seen in years. He had almost nothing else to do, as he had finished exploring the house on his first day there, and he wasn't permitted outside. He did however, notice something strange.
Sarahs parents were always gone, he'd known that already. Everyone did. And everyone also knew that various male members of the school did her housework every week. Jon saw several guys..some of which he knew, drop buy and do her laundry, clean some of the houses areas, etc. But he never ONCE saw or heard...or smelled any of Sarahs so called "rewards." She would go to school, come back after her cheerleader practice was over, and then spend time in her room. Occasionally she would go out with freinds, but when she came back, it was obvious to Jon's highly sensitive sense of smell that the worst she had done was lightly kiss someone.
He began to suspect that a lot of what she did was a constantly supported RUMOR.
Then one day, on the 17th day of his punishment...she came home and closed the door behind her hard. She ran up the stairs...and large sobs started to echo through the house.
Why was she crying?
