Sarah looked at Karyn and then at the stone in her hand. She watched as Karyn's eyes lit up at the site of the stone.
"How do I know I can trust you with the stone?" Sarah asked. "You might try to do something to me."
"How do I know you won't do the same?" Karyn shot back. "Just give it here."
"I don't trust you." Sarah said. "You might just try something, and then who knows what will happen!"
"GIVE IT!" Karyn yelled, jumping forward as John tried to stop her. Sarah lept back and tripped as Karyn grabbed onto the front of her shirt and they both went down in a tumble. Suddenly Karyn froze as Sarah wished her still and scrambled up. She was still clutching the stone.
"I wanted to give you a chance...and I tried." Sarah said as she held up the stone. "But I guess you couldn't do it could you." She clenched the stone tightly. "So I guess I'll have to do something to you." She closed her eyes and began. "I wish-" She stopped as she heard a whining from by her feet. She looked down, and there was John, whining at her and pawing her leg with a wistful look in her eye. Sarah stopped and thought about what she was going to do. Then she made a silent wish. John yelped.
"Don't worry...I just sent her home...I couldn't do it." John looked at her curiously as she silently walked up to her room.
