It was just as Jon was stepping out of his underwear and pulling off his socks that he heard the sound of a doorbell, muffled through the wood of the cabana (and presumably also a sliding glass door).

"Keep changing!" Karyn's voice didn't pronounce this as a command, but Jon's body interpreted it as such. "I'll go answer the door!"

Even if Jon hadn't felt mysteriously compelled to quickly choose a speedo to wear, the thought that one of his classmates was at the door and about to be shoved into this cabana with him while he was naked spurred him to pick the closest swimsuit, a purple one, and step into it as quickly as possible. He then collected his clothes and placed them in one of several empty drawers that were set into the far wall, and exited the cabana only slightly more clothed than naked.

"Jay!" Jon exclaimed, heaving a sigh of relief as Karyn escorted her second guest onto the pool deck. Of all the guys he knew would be coming tonight, Jay Duncan was the one he felt most comfortable around. Or at least, he was the one that Jon felt least uncomfortable around. Jon still felt self-conscious in only a speedo, but soon he wouldn't be the only person in only a speedo. And when the next guest arrived, he and Jay would have strength in numbers.

Jay gave a confused smile as he saw Jon. "What's with the get-up?"

Karyn smiled "There's one for you in the cabana, too." and gently nudged Jay in the back before crossing past Jon and laying down on a lounge chair.

Jon stood alone, muscles tensing with embarrassment, as Jay entered the cabana to change and Karyn languidly gazed at the light scattering of clouds in the sky. And a few minutes later, there were two awkward teenagers in speedos unsure of what to do with themselves, Jay's speedo in a neon green.

"Line up for me," Karyn idly pointed towards a crease in the flooring.

The two boys quickly found that they were standing on that crease, shoulder to shoulder, perpendicular to Karyn's line of sight.

"Good." A slow smile formed on Karyn's lips as her eyes studied the two before her. This was far from the first time she'd seen Jon without a shirt on, but he'd never looked quite this... exposed before. It made Karyn feel good. It made her feel in control. Owing to his tendency to stay inside and sit in front of a computer during any free time, Jay had a little bit more weight on him than Jon did. He was also maybe an inch shorter. But his speedo seemed to fit him well, nevertheless.

Neither boy felt comfortable speaking, there was something about the way that Karyn was looking at them, and so they stood in silence as Karyn's eyes roamed over their bodies for a good quarter of an hour or so, before the doorbell chimed again.

Soon Tyler Robinson had joined Jon and Jay's lineup, wearing the navy speedo that he had procured from the cabana. Tyler was on the basketball team, and at 6'3" he was leaner and more muscled than Jon. He also seemed a lot more comfortable than either of the other boys with his current level of exposure.

"So are we going to, you know, get into the pool at some point?" Tyler asked.

"Shhh," Karyn waved off the question and continued her inspection.

The lineup grew to six over the next hour, with Andrew Stoppard, then Mitchell Webb, then Frank Simon all joining in yellow, red, and orange speedos, respectively. Each made a few choice comments as they joined, but at Karyn's instruction they all quickly fell in line, both colloquially and literally.

Jon's legs were beginning to hurt, and he was about to speak up, when he looked down and noticed the tie on the hip of Jay's neon green speedo. Speedos didn't have ties on their sides, did they?
