Holli wasn't the only one packing. Val was also packing. no matter what, she wasn't staying here either. She fully expected to head to the UK. After this, it would be home.
She had realized her knowledge of Korean was increasingly limited to simple phrases. She might be less susceptible than Holli, but she wasn't immune to the side effects of what was happening. While people were not noticing her for who she was...she had noticed them noticing her for being a foreigner. She did stand out in that regard now.
She went to the room's safe and unlocked it, pulling out a blue passport, and opened it. United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Glover. Valerie Marie. Nationality: British Citizen. A picture that looked like what she saw in the mirror now, as opposed to what Holli had looked like. And the date of birth was hers...although the year had changed. She had noticed that when Holli wrote her date of birth. The day wasn't the same.
"I don't think she'll have a problem using her passport tomorrow," Val mused. She put the passport back and locked the safe.
Like the differing days of birth, there would be other differences as this life become hers and vice versa.
She went to her computer to check the options for flights to London before contacting her producer to discuss future plans. She wouldn't mind following the group to the States. She had never been before. The group had toured extensively around Asia, but she hadn't expected them to tour America for at least another year. Either way, if she said goodbye to Holli tomorrow night, and went on with her new life, that would be fine as well.
By then, if her plan continued to work, Holli Mok would be cemented into her new life permanently. There was still a possibility she could fail and return to being....whatever her name used to be...but she could always try again.
