The final record of Kazuki was 6-4. He Topped 4 times and Bottomed 2 times. It was not the best, but it was a solid record. Eiji had a final record of 9-1. Jiro was his only failure. He had Topped Minato 5 times and Kauzki one time. He bottomed for Ryuga 3 times. It was an amazing record. So much so, that he had overtaken Minato on the squad leaderboard. It was the first time that Minato was not at the #1 position. Eiji looked really pleased with himself. Minato was upset with this outcome. He was the one that allowed Eiji and Kazuki go first. It was now time for the next pairing to make their final attempt. That was Ryuga and Aito. They had started out as partners. The pair had a very rocky start. However, both had taken time to grow as individuals. Aito managed to Top Ryuga successfully. We watched them take their time to get things right. It was what they were supposed to do. Kazuki was happy for both of them. Ryuga finished this stage with a record of 7-3. He had overtaken Kazuki for third place on the leaderboard. It was well deserved. This was a long time coming. He was happy.
For Aito, his record was now 4-6. He had bottomed 2 times. Both of those times were with Kazuki. He had also Topped twice. Once was with Minato. The second time was just now. It was with Ryuga that he started. To finish with him was not common among their squadmates. Still, it was almost poetic in a way. He qualified for the big shakeup last week. This was a good showing nonetheless. Ryuga had successfully Topped 6 times. 3 times were with the smug Eiji. Once was with Kazuki. Aito was the latest. He had also Bottomed for Kazuki once. This put Aito in fifth place. All eyes were on the final pair now. Minato was the best Bottom among us. Jiro was the worst pilot in the whole squad. They were going to work together in order to finish off this stage strong. Everyone watched as they walked to the cockpit. They sat butt to butt in their places and turned their visors on. So far, everything was looking alright. They could see the image of the room that they had conjured up in their eyes. It was a very special place for them. They all were giving their full attention. It was Jiro's last chance.
