It was then he noticed the first changes in Linda herself. She seemed to get shorter all of the sudden. He looked down, and noticed her heels had been replaced by a pair of sneakers, explaining the height shift. Another shift...and her makeup and jewelry vanished.

She'd been wearing a nightgown downstairs...then when he came in, she'd been fully dressed....and now she was half dressed. She was wearing one of the professional dresses she wore to work, but with sneakers.

Items continued to blink out of and into existence in the room. A pair of white crew socks seemed to flow up from the sneakers, covering Linda's bare legs before her dress flowed downward into a pair of pants and a t-shirt. "I'm so glad this is going to be over soon," Linda said. "No offense..."

Jon was torn between grabbing her and shaking her to explain the situation and the fact she seemed to think he already knew. Was that because of what I did or something else?

Linda's hairstyle suddenly popped out and then back into existence as a very short cut. With the lack of makeup, short hair, the pants and shirt...she was starting to look a lot less like a mature woman in a room that looked like it belonged to a messy teen more so than a mother of three. "I can't believe I've been like this for a whole week," she said.

Jon suddenly realized something. He needed to stop whatever this was....the stone.....it was still...he threw open the door again and ran into the transformed hallway heading back to where his room had been...except it wasn't there. Well, some of it was, but it was half-transformed. The square footage had significantly increased, and he had a large window facing the backyard. He cursed, trying to find the stone. It had been sitting on the...desk that wasn't there anymore, he tried what he thought was the closet, but it was now a bathroom. The dizziness returned, but this time, it wasn't more of the room changing, though items were still winking in and out...it was the disorientation he was feeling, coping with this.

He opened up a drawer in a changed dresser, which still seemed to have his clothes in it, and started looking, throwing them onto the floor.

Suddenly, he felt his shirt vanish and replaced by something else strapped tightly around his chest. He looked down to see he was wearing a bra.

That was when panic was replaced by horror.
