Doing it was not something that 03 would be against at all. He really liked beating on humans and killing them if given the chance to do so. Brett looked at him and asked if he was going to do that. 03 looked indignant. "No way am I going to do a favor for a cheater! You need to fight me again! Right now." he demanded. Brett continued to ignore him. That made him even more upset. He was absolutely fuming. I walked back to them to talk to 03. It was probably better for me to help 03 out right now. Brett did not look like he was going to do anything besides antagonize 03 for the time being. Getting on his good side might make it easier to get him to defect to our clan. The best way to help 03 was to get him away from this situation. I got between them and said "Can I talk to you for a bit 03? It's really important." 03 just looked at me and crossed his arms. "What is it!?" he demanded. I took him by the arm and dragged him to the other end of the dojo. Now that we were in a bit more private space, I was a much calmer person. "I want to get all of your thoughts on something." I said to him.
A moment passed before I said "C'mon, 03. You know that I care about you! It can't be all that bad to be living with us. 02 and you can reconcile. If you want to hide, your nanites can even change your appearance." He looked me up and down. It was all up to him now. It seemed that he actually really wanted to join us. 01 then frowned and sighed out loud. "I can't join a new clan like this. You have to beat me and force me to." he said, looking away from me. I said "You know Brett is a very strong officer and founder of the clan. Both of you were beaten." He looked at me in protest. All that he could get out was "But he-" before I cut him off. "You know he beat you fair and square. You saw 03 lose to him too. There was no way for him to sneak anything past you. You already lost. That can be the excuse you need." I said. There was no getting out of that brutal loss. I was not going to let either of them forget it. I could see that he was getting agitated. He then stilled and looked me right in the eyes. "You all cheat! Humans are so gross and you can't beat us fairly." he spat. I stared at him.
Looking nervous all of a sudden, he took a defensive posture. "What? I didn't say anything wrong. You want to fight about it!?" he asked. I just stepped closer to him. He eyes scanned me to look for signs of danger. If I was going to strike, he wanted to be able to see it coming. In stead of hitting him, I placed my hands on either side of his face. "You are really beautiful 03. I want to protect you and 01 from anyone that wants to hurt you." I told him gently. He blinked before smirking. "Of course you'd say that kind of thing. You want to mate with me. Are you still thinking about impregnating me!?" he mocked. I moved my hands down from his face to his bare chest. In the time since he had gotten up from the fight, he had shifted his nanites to form black shorts. As an andromorph, it was socially acceptable to go around shirtless. 03 raised his eyebrow in curiosity. "I am not a female mammal. You won't get a drop of milk out of me." he said as if it was some mistake on my part. I did smirk. "I'm just touching the most intimate part of you. We both know that the genitals you form are temporary."
