It seemed that he actually really wanted to join us. 01 then frowned and sighed out loud. "I can't... just join a new clan like this. You have to beat me and force me to." he said, looking down. I said "You know that Brett is a very strong officer and founder of the clan. Both of you were beaten." He looked at me in protest. All he could get out was "But he-" before I cut him off. "You know he beat you fair and square. You saw 03 lose to him too. There was no way for him to sneak anything past you. You already lost. That can be the excuse you need." I said. There was no getting out of that brutal loss. I was not going to let either of them forget that. I could see that he was getting agitated. He then stilled and looked me right in the eyes. I was a bit put off by the full burning intensity of the look. A step back was taken. He closed the gap instantly. It was surreal. Sometimes, I could actually forget that they were all inhuman supercomputers. "You wanted to impregnate me, right!? If you could, maybe I would... have to join you." he said nervously. I shook my head and sighed. "I can't do that." he said.
He looked shocked and almost hurt. "What are you talking about!? That's what you said earlier! Why are you lying!? I know that your biological urges can't deny the urge once we get close to you." he snapped. I reached out to place a gentle hand on his head. "I already made myself clear. I value your consent and autonomy. I would never force myself on you. I only want you to join us. If that is what you want after you join us, that is what we will do. If you only want to breed with other AEP units, I will totally respect that." I reminded him. 01 pouted before leaning on my shoulder. "Say all of that again. Please. I... need to hear it." he whispered. I pulled him into a hug. "Yes. It is totally up to you. You have all the rights and autonomy here. I won't even touch you if you don't want to. That's how much you mean to me. I respect you so much." He seemed to shudder. All I could do was hold him tight. After a bit, he stood up straight and looked at me. "I'll do it. I will join your clan if you'll have me." he said. I smiled at him and said "Of course. You will be a valued part of our clan. Thank you so much."
With that being the case, it was time to try to convince 03 to join. This might be easier or harder to achieve. 03 was the first one that I had interacted with. Really, he was my first NPC friend from the continent in the game. I was really happy about that fact as he really was a cool person to know. The fiery nature 01, 02 and 03 had really captivated me. Turning to 01, I told him to go down to the AEP Lab. I did not want him to interfere with the plan to get the very reluctant 03 on our side. Obviously, I was not going to tell him that right now. Getting him out of the way would make this a bit easier. He knew where it was, so I did not need to go with him. I watched him leave. I could only sigh. Now, it was time to get to work. Back in the dojo, I could see that the situation had not changed all that much. 03 was up in Brett's face. As I got closer, I could see that he was still protesting his loss earlier. Brett was shooting him down while looking towards that PEAs. He still wanted the ugly woman he knocked up killed to avoid them. Neither the female nor Devon wanted to do it. I did not want to do it.
