Both of them were totally unable to process how they were defeated. It was certainly an amazing feat. The both of them were obliterated in one hit each. Both of the new cyborg spectators were also shocked. The PEAs could only stand over them and wait for them to be alright. 01 and 03 were fine with the energy that they got from the generator. Still, they were really upset with themselves now. They were supposed to be Conquerors, but they were no match for a pair of humans. Patting them both on the head, I said "Now that you guys lost to us, we're willing to take you on as members of our clan. We'll give you some cookies." I was only partially teasing. Neither of them were willing to accept the loss. "You cheated! No human is that strong!" 03 said as he glared at Brett. "How did he cheat? You are the AEP unit here, so you have to be the one to prove it with your superior senses." I said. 01 snapped his attention to me and said "We clearly don't have enough data on you here, but we know that you cheated. I felt his punch. It caused massive damage. That's impossible for humans."
Maybe that was true for NPC humans. Brett was not an NPC. He was not even a regular Player like me. Brett was a true Devil. I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, you guys lost either way. You can join us or you can go back to your own clan." That made them look at each other. It was a big decision for them. They would be then traitors to their kind. All of their former comrades would be instantly hostile to them. On the other hand, they could choose not to swallow all their pride. It was now overwhelmingly clear to them that they could not beat us. Fighting us would lead to their death. I personally liked them, so I would love an excuse to bring them in and not kill them. The silent conversation was taking quite a while. I looked at 01 and said "Let me talk to you in private for a bit." I offered him my hand. He decided to take it. We moved into the hallway. "C'mon, 01! You know that I care about you. It can't be that bad to be living with us. 02 and you can reconcile. If you want to hide it, you can even change up your appearance if you want." He just looked me up and down. It was all up to him.
