Jon may have had sex with Sarah, but it was obvious that he didn't really understand her. He had expected Sarah to turn down the chance the same way she turned down the chance to pick on Freddie. Pondering to himself and fingering the rock, he said "I wish I knew what was going through her head."
"Jon! You're touching the rock!" Karyn nearly yelled, but tried to keep her voice down. She didn't want anyone else finding out about the rock.
"Huh?" He didn't even realize that he was doing it.
The wishing rock glowed and his wish was granted.
