Elder Megan, being the faster of the two, raced after the Dog-Nick, who had a great headstart. She couldn't see him, but headed down the stairs just in time to see him rushing out the front door of their apartment. She pursued, but he shouldered his way through a crowded street. After a few minutes, he had disappeared and Megan, feeling sadly defeated, slunk back to the apartment to see young Megan waiting anxiously.
"Well?" she asked.
"He lost me," Megan said, dejectedly.
"WHAT?!" the young Megan yelled. "How could you let that happen?! It's your fault I'm stuck like this! You have to fix it!"
"It's not the end of the world, calm down," the elder Megan pandered to her young self, "All we need to do is put out a missing persons report for a naked man who answers to the name Fido."
"Like they'll believe that," Megan scoffed. "Well, I guess that's the only thing to do. We need that medallion back."
The elder Megan phoned it in.
