Just then, they heard an inhuman howling from the other room. It wasn't everly dog-like, either. The two Megans raced back there to see what had hapened and found Fido, half-shaven, already partly-human, lying on a pair of Nick's slacks, screaming in agony as its canine form gave way to humanity. His hair (mostly) disappeared, its hind legs became a human's, whereas his front paws became hands and arms. His chest widened and the Megans watches, somewhat curiously, as he became un-neutered. Finally, his skull made the transition into a human's and his face took on Nick's visage.
The two Megans were stunned. The dog-man-Nick finally got its bearings and bolted upright, glancing around the room, trying to balance itself on two legs (the Medallion did teach it how to do that somewhat.) It carried the Medallion in its mouth.
"Can it speak?" the eldger Megan asked. Dog-Nick growled ferociously at her, and she said "Guess not."
Just then, Dog-Nick shot right past the two Megans with lightning speed. It headed for the door, with more quickness that Nick was thought to have, and, naked as a jay-bird, ran out into the hallways.
"Stop him!" cried young Megan, "he's got the Medallion!"
