Some time later, Jon's mom (still having his dad's body and thinking it's her own) walked downstairs, completely ready for her date with her husband. She was wearing a nice dress and heels, and also make-up and jewelry. Frankly, it looked strange on her male body, even though it was all tailored to fit.
"Jon, is that what you're wearing for your date? I'd think you and Karyn would want to dress up a bit. After all, we are going to an upscale restaurant," his mom said.
"Huh? Date?" Jon asked, wondering what his changed mother was talking about. He thought back to the wish he made and realized that he never specified why his parents were allowing him and Karyn to join them on their date. Reality must have changed so that Jon was dating Karyn! And all four of them were going out on a double date.
Just at that moment, the front door opened and in walked Jon's dad, still having his mom's body and thinking it was his own. "Oh, wow," he said, looking at his wife. "You look fantastic, honey."
Jon's mom smiled, loving the compliment.
