Sarah's eyes snapped open. She looked around at unfamiliar surroundings before finding the source of the noise. It was on the nightstand next to the bed she was in. What had just happened?
She got up, and looked around the room. It wasn't the large bedroom she was used to It was much more modest. Bed, chair, desk...the room was rather spartan. She had to get out of here. And she couldn't go wearing a nightgown...although it was a fairly modest one.
She checked the room. There were some ugly dresses in the closet, as well as modest skirts..."Who lives here?" She wondered out loud, finding something that seemed to be the least disgusting and putting it on. She slipped on a pair of unflattering underwear, then one of the frumpy skirts and tops. They were loose, but fit her. She noticed a mirror in the corner, and...being who she was, went to check herself out and nearly screamed before catching herself.
Her hair was a mousy and frizzy brown color. Her eyebrows had been dyed the same color, someone had cut her hair...and she had a serious case of bed head. "What the..." She needed to get home from whatever nightmare this was. She noticed her fingernails had been cut as well. The hairstyle, the nails, the loose frumpy clothes that didn't flatter her...it didn't make her feel particularly sexy...and she didn't like that.
"I need to get home before someone sees me," she said.
