This was not something I wanted to do. 13-001 was adamant that he was not going to let me back in the settlement if I did not let him punch me. On one had I was just impressed with his gutsiness. On the other hand, he was a little shit. I had done nothing to deserve getting punched here. Rolling my eyes, I said "Do it." He smirked and hit me as hard as he could. That hurt a bit, but I just tanked it. I was too strong for him to do any lasting damage. I was not going to say anything to him. To add an extra insult, I just healed myself in front of him. 13-001 was annoyed by the display. He pat me on the head and said "Stop being so crazy." I only nodded my head. If I said anything, I was going to curse him out. He looked at me nervously like I was going to do something totally insane. Dawg took Major Watts, Brett, Parker and I back to the settlement. The others went with 13-001. When we got back to the settlement, 13-001 teleported away. There was no doubt in my mind that he was going to snitch on us and what Major Watts said. Within 10 minutes, we were surrounded by all of the clan.
Even Brett was at a loss. Seeing this happen, the soldiers in the area drew their weapons and pointed them at the cyborgs. I sighed loudly. The clan leader questioned us about what Major Watts intended to do now that all the evil Conquerors were eliminated from the eastern quadrant. Major Watts was still knocked out. We had to wait a few hours for him to wake up in the infirmary. He was handcuffed to the bed. Nicoletta was there and she looked a bit nervous. I did not spill the beans. All I told them was "Wait until he can tell you himself." Brett did the same thing. When he finally woke up, he looked confused. "Where the fuck am I?" he asked. Nicoletta leaned over and said "You were brought here. Void Clan seems to think you want to kill them." He scoffed. The clan officers and the AEP units were all there. He was directly asked about it and he said "After all of the clean up we've had to do here, I think that it's clear that you cannot be trusted here alone. Our occupation will continue. We also don't need you messing with the transmission hub. Its settings seem fine enough already."
13-001 was enraged. He charged Major Watts and prodded the human's chest with his finger. "You fucking tried to kill me, you piece of shit!" 13-001 screamed. "You did kill Chase. We have every right to arrest you right now for that murder." I cleared my throat. "As a neutral party, I can tell you what really went down." I just gave a full brief of the operation. Major Watts did try to kill 13-001 and Dawg. 13-001 did assault Dawg and tried to kill Major Watts in anger. When we tried to calm him down, he killed Chase and almost killed Parker and Hannah. He even tried to get Major Watts to kill Dawg when he was downed by the enemy. Neither side was innocent here. As this was revealed, both Major Watts and 13-001 were pissed off. The leader of Void Clan kicked them out of the settlement. To be honest, it was for the best. Major Watts refused. I looked at him. "Sixteenth Notes Clan has finished our side of the contract already. If you keep going, it won't end well. You've won. We took out Magnetic Clan together. You personally ended Cold Clan. You brokered a lasting peace." I told him.
